here's an update on my condition
So as many of you know I was in the hospital last week with the rhinovirus, bronchitis and respiratory infection I had trouble breathing. I'll make this update short, well, got out of the hospital last Wednesday I'm a lot better.
I got my strength back and I go back to work in 2 days. I did receive something good out of almost dying, I haven't had a cigarette in 2 weeks. I been smoking for 30 years and I just quit cold turkey like that.
I didn't think I could do that but I wasn't even craving a smoke. my doctor gave me 2 choices either stop smoking or stop breathing I chose stop smoking lol. I want to thank you all for the good vibes have a good day.

Glad you got through all of that. Congrats on getting rid of the cigarettes. I probably would not be alive today had I not stopped. Well done and welcome home.
Well done. I was a smoker for 36 years and had a really bad infection last Christmas and decided enough was enough with the cigarettes. I am 15 weeks free of them today!! You CAN do it and fab progress, take care of yourself :)

I was surprised, I been smoking for 30 years and this is the longest I been without a smoke. I still get the urge but not really the craving, I have a bunch of bags of halls and candy and when I get the urge I through a halls in my mouth and the urge goes away.
the candy is cheaper and a lot better for you lol. but i might have to lose weight im pretty sure ill be gaining weight but ill rather gain weight then smoke.
I tried to quit a few times but no luck, this is the longest i been without a smoke and tell you the truth i feel great. im not even graving that much and when i do i look at the picture i took on my phone in the hospital and thats enough push to stay off the smokes good luck
