Hey all! A little about me, I'm a serial entrepreneur and have a deep passion for business. I've started, grown, and marketed companies from software to website hosting to affiliate marketing for a time and I'm here because I'm impressed with the community that's being built. But enough about me

Lets talk on the subject of books

"Books? Aren't books an outdated resource? Everything's online now."

Absolutely not, I know I'm young but I attribute a lot of my previous success to books and the knowledge I learned from books.

There is so much value to be had in courses like Wealthy affiliate: a great program, community, ect. But there is such a large store of knowledge of knowledge and perspective out there in books. For example Mark Cuban quoted saying he would hire or choose someone who had read the book Rework by Jason Fried. I would love to hear some of the communities favorite books on business, sales, ect because I value it so highly.

My Quick List of Books to Read

Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone - This book abosultely changed my life when I was 18. I was losing my drive and making mistakes I shouldn't be making. This book took everything into perspective. He's a bit extreme but one of the smartest business men I've ever seen

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie - A little bit of a rough read since it was written years ago but every single topic in this book still applies 100% to all of our lives and is crucial. Remember, as a business person we aren't in the business of sales, we're in the business of people.

The 10 Pillars of Wealth by Alex Becker - A really really fun read with a lot of valuable information. Apply those pillars of wealth and your chances of success will skyrocket. You don't have to agree with everything he says but it's a great read.

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham - Now I have to say that of all the books I've read on business, this might be one of the hardest reads I've ever had to go through. But think of it this way. Every way you'll spend money in the future is an investment of your time and capital. The topics covered in this book are pretty damn important for people looking to build their income to new heights.

Sell or Be Sold by Grant Cardone - Another book by Grant Cardone? Yes. Grant Cardone in my opinion is one of the worlds greatest sales professionals right now. His books are great and if you listen to either one as an audio book it will be even better because he narrates the entire book himself and he's absolutely great at it. This book covers crucial fundamentals in business and sales that aren't usually intuitive. I highly recommend this book.
