My Father and My Son

Growing up I was extremely fortunate to have a father who's two favorite things to tell me:

  1. I am so proud of you
  2. What your mind can conceive and your heart believe you will achieve.

Since my father has passed my mother has continued the wisdom of MDR and the Church of What's Happening Now. (My father should have been a preacher not a life insurance agent but we all have our calling - His was protecting peoples income and he was super good at it)

Fast forward 25 years and I was able to raise my own children and step children with the same thought process of I am proud of them and what their minds can conceive and their hearts believe they will achieve.

My 21 year old son was home from the air force for a visit and while I was driving him back to the airport we got into some deep conversation about what his goals are in the next couple years while he is leaning his skills and serving his country. Will he finish his degree, will he reenlist as an officer, will he raise a family in the military. What does his life look like. He said the most amazing thing to me. The moment when I knew for a matter of fact - I am a GREAT mother!

Before he failed out of college and enlisting into the air force - He found his calling -

While my son was in High School and was preparing for college applications and really just trying to pay for his WHIP (a beat up Chevy Tracker) He start working for the YMCA as a youth coordinator. Then he decided to work with underprivileged youths at Salvation Army because when he was a young boy he enjoyed playing basketball there and figured why not give back. What started as a way to get some brownie points on scholarship applications became a passion. He graduated from high school and left for college with a great scholarship and failed - miserably. Kid had all the making for the perfect BRO life as a college student accept one thing. He hates school. Always has. As a mother you can lead a kid to college but you can not make him go to class....

NOW WHAT - He figured it out and decided to join the Air Force. BEST THING EVER for this kid. (on to my point)

Cameron - What do you want to do with your life?

Cameron's answer - "I want to inspire a million youths"

Proudest moment in my life. I have amazing kids - AND if my 21 year old son can wake up one day and realize he want to inspire a million youths - WHY SHOULDNT I INSPIRE A MILLION PEOPLE?

I inspired 5 children to follow their dreams

I have inspired thousands of customers to take control of their financial futures

I have inspired hundreds of bar owners to take back control and offer experiences to their customers

I have inspired thousands of women to follow their dreams to start pole and aerial dance studios

I DID IT ALL WITHOUT THE INTERNET. IMAGINE WHAT WE CAN DO DIGITALLY!

I am NOT DONE INSPIRING, MOTIVATING, CONCEIVING, BELIEVING AND ACHIEVING.

I am so blessed and grateful.

Conceive, Believe and Achieve

Inspiring the world - one person at a time

Have I inspired you?

Cheers!
