Amazon Revisited | Max One
I'm at the point in the training where Kyle describes how to do a product review. I set about doing a review on a product that I promote in the health and wellness niche. I decided that, as Kyle suggested is a good way to approach a product review, I would seek out a comparable product. I went to Amazon and started sifting through the 'Blended Vitamin and Mineral Supplements section.
Here's where the story took an interesting twist. Sometime after 2010 I became involved with a company called Max International Inc. They had a product they called Max One which was, essentially, an immune system supplement. Specifically, the product helped the body restore it's levels of glutathione.
The Problem
Glutathione is the body's major antioxidant. It's the substance that helps the cells restore themselves, repairs cellular damage caused by oxidation and reduces inflammation. After the age of 20, the body begins to lose it's ability to manufacture glutathione. That is why pain is an emerging issue as we age.
A researcher at the University of Minnesota began to delve into whether it was possible to help the body restore it's levels of glutathione and, if so, how. Long story short, you cannot ingest glutathione. It does not survive the digestive process. After looking into the question for approximately 20 years, Dr. Herbert Nagasawa patented a substance called RiboCeine. RiboCeine is the active ingredient in Max One.
The Solution
The RiboCeine compound is composed of D-Ribose, an amino acid, and L-Cysteine, a natural sugar. If I remember the science correctly, it is the L-Cysteine molecule that helps the body restore glutathione to optimum levels. However, L-Cysteine does not survive the digestive process. But, the D-Ribose molecule is much more resilient. Accordingly, when the two are combined, the D-Ribose molecule shields the L-Cysteine molecule and it survives the digestive process.
I was introduced to the product by a friend. Remember that glutathione reduces inflammation which is one of the sources of pain in the body. I have a bad knee and a very narrow disc space in my lumbar spine. When I tried the product, almost immediately I experienced a dramatic reduction in the pain levels that I had become accustomed to as I journeyed into my early '40's.
This was not due to any sort of placebo effect since I was not told that pain reduction was one of the benefits I could expect from the product. In other words, Max One was the real deal. I became a distributor with the company!
At that time, Max International used the old MLM strategy of 'make a list of 100 friends and family etc' Those of you who go back that far will remember those days. Home parties. Meetings at hotels. You discover that your closest 100 friends and family are avoiding you like the plague! Anyway, that business model wasn't for me. But I did value the product and even though I believed in it's benefits I failed miserably at MLM.
So, back to my product review. As I'm floating through the Amazon site what did I stumble upon? Max One! It was in the Blended Vitamins and Minerals section! It is still high priced at $80.00 U.S. for a one month's supply and, obviously, Max International has abandoned it's MLM business model.
So I went ahead with my review and did a comparison between the product I promote and Max One. Now I have to say that the Max One product is, once again, the real deal. But, at an $80.00 U.S. price point, right now it's a little too expensive for a one month's supply for both my wife and I. Don't get me wrong, I really like the product we currently use and the company has a product line that I'm really impressed with. But, in my opinion, compared to the efficacy of the Max One product, well, there really is no comparison.
In my review, I was able to say that in my view the Max One product was a superior product. There is a segment of the market that, after all, will pay a much higher price for what they perceive as the best product available. I concluded my review by saying that the product we currently use, all things considered, was our first choice. In other words, at a comparable price we'd be using Max One. But, at a price that is 60% more than what we pay for the supplement we use, that is not currently do-able for us. I incorporated links to both products in my review.
My real aim in telling you all of this is as follows. For those of you in the health and wellness niche Max One is a product that you may wish to consider. It is an outstanding supplement in the immune system support niche. I would go so far as to say that there is nothing comparable.
The other point worthy of note is that, at a price of $80.00 U.S., sales of the Max One product will earn you a nice commission, even through the Amazon rail. But, perhaps most importantly, if you are involved in this niche the Max One product will, in my opinion, suggest to those who buy based on your recommendation that you too are the real deal.
I'm so very excited to have stumbled upon this today. I'm excited about suggesting the Max One product to others. For those who choose to buy based on my recommendation they will, without a doubt, be very impressed and I look forward to the feeling of satisfaction that will flow from that.
Moreover, my wife and I are both thrilled by the prospect of experiencing the benefits of the Max One product for ourselves once again. We both know through personal experience that it is the real deal!
