The Seed is Planted - My WA Progress after 1.5 Months
First Blog Post - WA Reflections
I am started to get the feeling that 2019 is going to be a VERY good year. A little over a month ago I embarked on my journey with Wealthy Affiliates as a premium member and I couldn't be more pleased. I had been toying with the idea of creating an online business and pursuing affiliate marketing for a couple of years but until recently wasn't really in a position to do so. My girlfriend and I have been traveling throughout Asia teaching English and are finally in a place financially to pursue our dream of working independently online and traveling.
We are both very passionate about environmental awareness, health, and wellness, and sustainability. We have made many lifestyle changes over the years and have learned a lot along the way! We have created a website based on the niche of all natural, Eco friendly lifestyle products. I am so excited to have the opportunity to SHARE some of the products and lifestyle hacks we've learned and to see people benefit from them as much as I have.
Progress Highlights
Over the past month I have acquired so many new skills and so much knowledge from both the training here at WA and the research I have done to create content. It's truly rewarding to be educating myself more deeply about things that I am passionate about and seeing the positive response from the traffic coming to my site. I am not only excited to see the successful progress happening on the site but can feel good knowing that I am doing work I believe in for the good of the planet.
So far we have created four pretty in depth articles (ranging from 1500 words to 4500 words) sharing some all natural, Eco friendly, non-toxic home products that we have come to love. We have also been able to spread awareness about the role toxins play in many commercial personal care products and help provide some really great all natural alternatives that I just KNOW people will fall in love with.
Realizations Thus Far
One of the biggest realizations I've had throughout the process so far is just how powerful this community is and how rewarding it is to be a part of it. I have had so much more great feedback, help, and positive engagement over the past month than expected. I am eager to continue the training and acquire knowledge to be able to help other within the community. For the first time in my life I truly believe in the work I am doing and feel optimistic about my future in online affiliate marketing and beyond.
Future Goals
In terms of goals for the upcoming 3 months I will complete all the levels of training, create at least 3 new articles per week, become more active with helping and connecting with members here at WA, and register through at least 5 affiliate programs. By the 6-month mark I would like to see some revenue, become an ambassador at WA, and be in a position to pursue the affiliate boot camp to share the skills I have acquired as an affiliate marketer and help promote the benefits of WA.
