The Easy Way to Be Successful in Online Marketing

Making Money Online is a Simple Formula!

The first time I tried to boulder in a rock climbing gym, I used any holds I could, dragging myself up with with pure muscle and no technique. About 18 feet up, my forearms were burning and I had positioned myself into a spot with no more easy holds. I dropped off the wall like a stone, landing hard on the thick mats below.

I use the climbing analogy here because it's a lot like life and especially like starting an online marketing venture. Whatever your goals are, that is the essence of what you're doing. Marketing. Picking a good route, positioning yourself onto the right holds, and working your way inch-by-inch to the top.

Now I don't want you to think I bait and switched you, so here is my simple formula for finding success, that is, lots of daily visitors and lots of steady money, the EASY way, if you will:

1. Find a niche within an industry people are interested in. Well! Lots of people out there, that shouldn't be hard!

2. Build a professional, engaging website. Again, easy! In all fairness, this is 100x easier today and 1000x easier with WA. (I'm not talking to you uber-coders out there.)

3. Write about your fascinating and unique (but very desirable) niche with a steady stream of excellent, one-of-a-kind articles. Going back to the term marketing, today more than ever this means identifying and helping people get what they want. So find those that want what you have. Get them to trust that you understand what they want. At some point, let them know that you can give them what they want! (For a price...)

4. Get the word out! Let people know! Do all of the above really well so you're not embarrassed to tell people about it! Use social media, but not necessarily the one tied into all of your friends and family... . Be a guest blogger, write on other sites and refer them to your site.

5. REPEAT Do it over and over again.

You see that? The EASY and SIMPLE way to online marketing riches!!

Ok, so I'm kidding. But not entirely. First of all, simple is one thing. Easy is another.

Second, there are lots of tiny steps to take along the way, and just as many ways to make money, attract visitors, and on and on.

However, while you can add a step as your website gets going, or break those steps down into infinite detail, the basic formula never changes.

Build a website focusing on things that people are interested in, write and market to people endlessly and keep doing it over and over.

It's not fast and it's not easy (it's a big, competitive internet out there,) but why would you want it to be?

You came here to grow a business online, which can only be done if you grow, and that growth can't happen without serious effort.

Whew! Got it Dad!

Please keep in mind that one of the reasons I'm writing this is as a reminder to myself. A reminder not to be the guy that rushes up the wall, burning his arms out, climbing haphazardly in any direction and never making it to the top.

As that frickin' cliche' goes, "It's not a sprint, it's a marathon!" Ugh. Punch me in the face now.

But it's just so true.

Don't rush up the wall. Plan your route, execute your moves, and keep climbing. And if you fall off the wall? Get the hell up and start climbing again. (as long as you didn't break anything, then don't climb, go to the hospital :-) )

Now go get at it people!
