I was just standing behind a man on his cell phone talking about what DVD to rent from a machine at the grocery store for about 20 minutes which I thought was very rude. During that time I saw the lotto sign in customer service and decided to buy some tickets and come back. He continued to talk on his cell for several more minutes before making his selection, then apologized for the wait. I made my own DVD selection within minutes and driving home in the car I thought about how time is so muc
Hi Everyone! I haven't been that active in WA lately because I've been busy getting my daughter ready for college, but the day has finally come and she leaves today! I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands now and I plan to use it wisely, so you will see me interacting more within the community. Everyone here is so wonderful and helpful. I really appreciate this opportunity of being a member of such a great community of people! I'm also going to tackle Level 2 training ASAP. I made the
I'm very excited that my first street article was approved!! I have not had success with my website and I think it may be because I didn't chose a topic that I am most passionate about. I wrote my street article about parenthood and learning to let go and I believe that is my true passion. I love being a mom more than anything else in the world and I'm thinking about building a new parenting website. This is my very first article and I would appreciate your comments and any advice on how I
Yes, I will be the first to admit that I am a novice to all of this and it is very overwhelming to me, but I will never give up until it all makes sense to me and I know that I will eventually succeed. Nothing worth having is ever easy or everyone would be doing it, right? I continue to have faith and believe that my persistence, hard work and determination will lead me to the success that I desire and that failure is not a option for me. Thanks to the Wealthy Affiliate community who have an
I've been a member of the WA community for a very short time, but I've made over 300 social connections. I truly enjoy reading everyone's profile story. Although we are all different, we share one common goal and it amazes me how Kyle and Carson have been so successful in building a community of strangers with a common bond so willing to help one another and I'm so very proud to be a member of this community. Looking forward to working together to help one another succeed! Best, Carol
Quote from a great man..."Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." Thomas EdisonImagine all the great inventions we would be without if Thomas Edison decided to give up. Success is not always easy, but it is always worth the effort. So when you feel like you're getting frustrated, just remember to always give it one more try and your determination will lead you to the success you desire.Wishing my WA Community muc
I saw two great posts on Facebook today that made me think of Wealthy Affiliate and my own personal goals and wanted to share them with you. “Purpose may point you in the right direction, but its passion that propels you.”I was re-directed to the WA website while searching for franchise opportunities, so I really think that I was meant to find WA. It just feels right to me and much less financially risky than a franchise, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I’m
I saw this post on Facebook today that really hit home for me. It read, "Don't ever get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life". My daughter graduated from high school a few days ago and it made me think back to the choices I made when she was just a baby. I went back to work at "Corporate America" when she was only 4 months old, thinking that I could provide a better life for her. Looking back, sometimes I think this was a BIG MISTAKE because there are just some things t
I read a very interesting quote this morning by one of the class officers in my daughter's graduating high school class. "If you never quit, you will never fail." I thought it was a very remarkable quote for an 18-year-old and just know he will have much success in life.I'm new to Wealthy Affiliates and intend to make that my motto for success. Nothing worth having is ever easy or everybody would be doing it. I've learned a great deal here at WA my first week and believe that I h
