A song of Hope
I make it a habit of reading the profile of persons I follow, and the ones that follow me back here on Wealthy Affiliates. This is because I draw inspiration, encouragement, and passion from the challenges the individual spirit faces, and their ability in some cases to overcome these adversities to walk victoriously into tomorrow.
the common threads I have found in the story of the wealthy affiliate journey is that we all came looking for something better than we had experienced, we wanted to find somewhere that we could trust, and who would give us the opportunity to provide a higher standard for ourselves, we simply wanted to ascend to a higher plateau of status, self worth, and accomplishments. "Better" was the common thread.
The other common thread was that all of us wanted to succeed, not one person joined this community with a plan to fail, and this single common thread began to weave the fabric of this community, a fabric that was rich with colors to represent the diversity of cultures and nations, a strong fabric because there is no greater strength in the cosmic universe than a people united in common purpose to help each other succeed. "Helping each other succeed" was the common thread.
The last thread I found was the song of hope. It is the song resident in the human spirit, genetically encoded in the human DNA by his creator. "Hope" was the common thread.
The song of hope begins with a faint hum when things look dismal, or adversity and tragedy arises, it is heard in the far recesses of the mind, and grows louder in proportion to the calamity around us.
This hope song has the ability to play in the right key, scale, and rhythm so that when trials are at their peak in our lives, when darkness blots out our sun, when the icy hands of death, or the serrated blade of betrayal penetrates our lives, it belts out the tune that activates our strength to rise, and the vision to see beyond the darkness today, showing us the light at the end of the tunnel.
We do not know the lyrics of this song, but our spirit recognizes the melody as distinct, the effects undeniable. This song satisfies our soul and calms every fear when we are in the heat of the battle, and hums the melody of the overcomer in our sub-consciousness
So as we pursue the wealthy affiliate dream of "better" and we begin to look at the people that make up this community, we realize that we aren't much different from each other, and the song of hope we all heard, brought us to this place. Some of us have survival stories that would absolutely amaze others, some of us can't even talk about it because the wounds are either still fresh, or they never healed. What helps the healing process is when we tell each other "welcome" "Thank you" "Great post" "hey I'm checkin on you" "thank you so much for posting a reply on my website" What we are actually doing is helping each other in a way that money never could, we are helping to heal the human spirit.
Somehow the song of hope has given us the assurance that whatever we faced cannot compare to where we were created to go and the reward that awaits. If you listen carefully, in your hour of despair or hopelessness, this song hits a crescendo and refocuses our minds, not to what is, but what is to come. This song becomes our anthem for life, and becomes the difference between giving up, or smiling in the face of adversity in the defining moment of our lives.
There is hope in helping others. For the one being helped it is the permission to continue the good fight, because someone saw enough value in their existence to interrupt their schedule and offer assistance. To the one helping it is the feeling that satisfies the appetite of their human spirit like nothing else, with the inner satisfaction that someone is that much better off because we passed that way and in passing, our help enriched them in some way.
The composer of the song of hope chose to give the song to mankind, and He did not discriminate with race, creed, or religious preference, showing the magnitude of His great love. The composer of the song is also the author of the book of our lives, and He composed the song to compliment every page of that book, knowing that everyday some chord from that song must be played and heard if we are to look to another sunrise.
It could be that every one here came to this community looking for "better" but could it also be that the composer of the song of hope, by divine design and wisdom, saw fit to use the song to bring people needing spiritual healing and people with the ministry of healing to one community?

Your piece is excellent and inspiring. Do you write for a living or as a hobby? I am just a couple of days old on this site so I hope you excuse my curiosity.
A little of both I guess, I just published my first book which is on Amazon. It is a 40 day devotional called "Soul Food" by Clyde Bain you might find it inspiring. Thanks for the comments!
