Hi everybody and welcome back! I am very excited to welcome you all back with another book review! The Legend Series is one of my very favorite series that I just rocketed through. It is written by the very talented author Marie Lu. Okay so without further ado... lets get to the summary!

The book starts with a young girl named June. It describes what district she lives in and how it is separated into sectors. There is the rich sector (or the gem sector) and then the poor sector. The book talks about how June was a top choice for government training. June ends up starting her training and then they enter a new very important (and loveable) character named Day. Day used to live with his family in the poor sector. However, he is the exact opposite of June. His dad was always against the government so he decides to follow in his fathers footsteps and start little riots and rebelions. However, Day becomes a well known criminal and decides to fake his own death to protect his family. Life was going tough for these two when it all of a sudden turns even worse. A new plaque breaks out and hits Day's families house. Day decided to try to break into the hospital to find a cure and that is when all h*ll breaks loose. While Day breaks into the hospital, guards are called to the scene; including June's brother who is the lead guard. June's brother is right on Day's tail when someone stabbed him from behind.

Look up The Legend series on Amazon or at a Barnesand Noble near you to follow June and Day's journey into finding the truth and starting the rebellion.

WHY I ENJOYED THIS SERIES SO MUCH:

I WAS OBSESSED. I mean obsessed. I probably finished the entire series in the time frame of a week. (Would have been sooner if I didn't have to study :( ). I absolutely loved the love interest that formed inbetween June and Day. They were truly my dream couple. It gave me a Romeo Juliet vibe. A type of forbidden romance with a rich young government trainee from the Ruby sector, and a fiesty rebel from the poor sector.

I hope you all enjoy this book and decide to rent or buy it from your local library of Barnes and Noble. Very very worth it!! Tune in tomorrow for my next review!!!
