Scatterbrained?
WOW!
In August of last year, as my birthday was closing in, I began to think seriously about building a business from home. The thought of being only one year away from the BIG 5-0, and not really having accomplished anything for myself was motivation enough to begin doing some research.
Have you looked at how many ways are available to earn an income from home there are?
I mean, REALLY LOOKED?
There's CPA-CPC-Affiliate Marketing-Direct Sales-Article Writing-eBay-Craigslist Services-Fiver Gigs-Product Creation-Website Flipping-Surveys-etc.....
The list could LITERALLY go on forever!
It was as though I entered a sort of hypnotic state every time I came across a new opportunity. I'd think to myself, Ok-this looks like something I can do.....it's not that hard.....Ill start with this method. As I was teaching myself how to begin one method, I'd come across another that appeared to be a simpler, faster way to get my feet wet. I'd think, let me start with this instead, I can set this up and return to my original plan, but at least there will be some money coming in while I'm working on it.
I began to think that I suffered from adult attention deficit disorder. No matter how hard I tried to focus on one inone stream, I found myself easily distracted with the next new thing!
When I found Wealthy Affiliate, I was ecstatic! I remember thinking, 'This is it!! This will be the end to my means!' I promised myself that I would utilize everything that WA is offering me, I'll be a sponge and absorb all lessons and the wisdom that each member is sharing!!'
You have no idea of the level of excitement that I had.
Here I am, 11 months later, and I haven't made a single penny online.....
What I have accomplished, however, is a better understanding of exactly who I am.
Over the past few days, I've done a LOT of soul searching. I've reflected on the successes in my life, as well as failures, and I came to some hard to swallow realization.
Although I truly have the best intentions when I start something, I don't always follow through if it becomes too difficult.
In school, I had a natural talent in Graphic Arts. I found that playing an instrument, ANY instrument, wasn't something that came easy for me, so ALL of my electives were in Arts.
Same thing with Drivers Ed. Learning to drive a standard caused me anxiety behind the wheel, so I learned to drive an automatic and have never challenged myself to master driving a stick shift!
I don't think that my problem is procrastination, I believe that I have a fear of exiting my comfort zone.
I have a very strong reason for my need to earn an income from home, the thought of letting down my "WHY" brings me to tears!! That is why I have found myself a "Goal Coach".
My coach is going to keep me focused by holding me accountable for my daily goals, no matter how big or small. She is also going to help me in building a strong business foundation by keeping me in check with the best businesses opportunity that I have come across in all of my searching.......Wealthy Affiliate....
Good-Bye to the simple one-hit-wonder biz apps..... Hello to focusing on building a strong business one virtual brick at a time!!

What an honest post feel privliaged to read it . I am sure that you will acheive all of your goals. Wealthy affiliate is a great place to learn the skills to establish a successful on line business. It is suprising how much information you do soak up. The knowledge here can be overwhelming at times. But we can all get there. best wishes for your journey .
