Agriculture without poisons
This is the story of a German architect named Alvin Seifert who taught not to contaminate our soil.
How?
With the use of the so-called "Compost"
It is one of the books I have read the most and had more attention in my life as a farmer.
Alvin loved horticulture, grew his own potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce. Also, fruit like currants, raspberries, blackberries, etc.
He said that applying the compost he did not need to apply fertilizers, agrochemicals or other poisons.
Only Compost on the ground.
The soil is made up of millions of bacteria, microorganisms, insects and larvae. They are the "life" of our soil. The worms for example defecate leaving the so-called humus on its surface. Thousands of kilograms daily per hectare generate worms.
What happens to them that would happen to our soil if we kill these living organisms? We would take away all your fertility nothing good would grow.
Alvin fought with many gurus of the time who wanted the chemical business to continue expanding.
The use of agrochemicals contain many "salts" that destroy many living organisms.
How can we make a good compost?
With plant materials such as cut grass, leaves, roots, fruit peel, fine branches, flowers. Green and dry materials can be combined. Form a stack 1.5 wide x 1.50 m high.
You can use food scraps, bones, eggshells, bread, noodles, paper, etc. In my case I also use cow and horse manure. At the beginning I put dry branches of not much thickness and on different layers using the materials mentioned.
I estimate that a good compost will have an optimal decomposition period that will be between 9 and 12 months. This organic material will be very similar to black earth, which can be spread in a layer of 2 to 4 cm, in the crop line. At least once a year.
There is nothing healthier than harvesting our own fruit. Having my own garden is a "dream" to fulfill, in the coming months. I estimate to finish decomposing my first compost, early next year.
Another dream for next year is to start generating more consistent income, at Wealthy Affiliate. I have started the fishing season I have a very good feeling. I'm getting ready
Below I detail another important tutorial:

A fantastic "com" post Claudio.
The plant-based foods grown in America have few nutrients anymore because of all the pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides used over the past 50 years have destroyed the animals you mention.
In Ukraine where they have the richest soil in the world, it is amazing to bite into any vegetable or fruit and taste the difference.
When my future Babushka makes homemade jams and jellies, she uses almost zero sugar. That is how sweet the fruit already is.
The soil is so rich there that they have 2 growing seasons even though winter lasts 4 months a year.
There is even a black market for Ukrainian soil that is valued at $30 billion a year!
Hello Mark,
The truth did not know that there was no paradise like the one you describe. I hope they know how to take care of it in the future. Fruits are more delicious and nutritious.
Thanks for comment!
I am going to write a blog about the chernozem or "black earth" of Ukraine. Two thirds of all the chernozem on the entire planet is in Ukraine.
