I've put an AdSense advert on my website but I don't know if it's working correctly. As I understand it should generate income when someone clicks on it but I may be wrong. Is
NEVER click your own Adsense ad, you're likely to get an immediate ban!!
You also need to be careful asking other people to test it for you, if they click on a page and immediately click the ad, that can register as suspicious activity and result in a ban too.
I'd also recommend adding Adsense Invalid Click Protector to stop click bombs https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-invalid-click-protector/

Claes, You can see whether your advert is getting clicks by going into your Adsense Account. This is where you would have got the code from to place the ad on your site.
In your Adsense account, look at the left side of the screen and find 'Performance Reports'. This will show daily activity in your account, such as clicks and impressions.
There are a variety of reports to familiarize yourself with. They will be easier to understand the longer your Adsense account has been active.

I use Amazon Associates Link Builder för my products. When I installed OneLink it seems to have stopped working. When I click on the product it goes to amazon.co.uk instea
The linked worked for me too. It took me straight to the Pflueger Patriarch Fly Reel in Amazon.com
If you are from UK and if it directs you there, this is normal.
I tried a few links and I am always redirected to Amazon.fr. I am from EU. So how is this possible unless you are using some other geolocation plugin like EasyAzon?
And the item is never available on fr-site, just to know. This is destroying your business. I cannot go to US store even if I want to.

What do you mean by "all over the site". If you put it in the sidebar widget, it will show in all posts and pages which have a sidebar. Quite a normal thing.
How would you want it to have? Use Ad Inserter plugin to have more command over it.
The ads are not only on the sidebar of the pages it's also under the main menu and in between text on pages.
I had a look. It seems in posts it is in sidebar and in pages it appears above and under the featured image.
So are you sure you only added it in sidebar widget? Check what you did, it cannot appear elsewhere by itself.
I use the same theme in one site and I have added them in the text manually by using Easy Plugin for Adsense. Otherwise they would not appear there.
