I Need Encouragement
This is a request you would rarely get or hear from strangers, yet it is one of the essential fuels that propel us to dizzy heights.
I need encouragement, you need encouragement, every human needs encouragement – it’s one of our basic needs. Otherwise, imagine yourself writing an article or blog to which you poured out your heart and soul. Toiled to make it perfect and then publish it. Weeks later, not one person liked it or commented on it. How would it make you feel?
That’s my point!
Encouragement works because other people’s opinion matter, whether we admit it or not.
Words of encouragement sooth and lights up the heart, bloat confidence and generally make us feel good.

Having grown up in a household where encouragement was seldom given, I used to view any positive feedback with suspicion. Now, I accept what is freely given, and give back where I can!
