I need a form for people to sign up for newsletter

There are a ton of Wordpress plugins that will do this. Contact Form 7, Formidable Forms & Ninja Forms are just a few that I have used and work well. Hope this helps!

I need to self host in order for somebody else to make changes

Yes you can.

Hi Chuck, I'm not clear on what you're needing but I don't see any advantages on hosting your own. The customer support and maintenance given by pros leave your time available for your business. If you need someone else to make changes on your site, create an admin level (i hope you trust them!) account and give them the ID and password. They can edit your site as you want them to. but be sure to delete account after they help you. Does that help?

Thanks! That's what I thought. Chuck

is it against wa policy/regulations to hire somebody to make changes on my blog?

I can make screen print and paste onto word but not to my post. Also I can't copy and paste from word to my post. What am I doing wrong?

When you copy something from Word I suggest you first paste it to Notepad to clean the text from some elements from Word. After that you can copy-paste either to Visual or to Text.

For images, if you make a screenshot save it as an image and then reduce size below 100 kB. After that add through Add Media button.

thanks

Thanks, I some times did that and it worked just did it to Save and then later used it.

When you paste into your post from Word use the Text tab not the Visual tab. This is how I add images

That's what I do I copy paste from word.

Have you tried saving the screenshot as a .jpg file and then uploading it onto your page as a media file?

Thanks,
Yes, I tried that but it doesn't paste to post.

do fivvr traffic offers work and will that traffic help site rank?

Paid traffic from anywhere is not useful. You won't get real people who are interested in your site or will possibly buy something you recommend.

Thanks Marion, Chuck

I thinks the traffic is all bots!!!

As stated there below, i would stay away, l have tried fiverr, the only good thing they can do is banners but traffic, stay away.

If it sounds to good to be true.......
Xin

The only thing I ever use Fiverr for is logo, banner designs... you can find some good designers there and for $5.50 each it's a great deal!

I checked out their SEO ranking, backlinks, traffic, etc. and they might be ok if you are not caught by Google as it's all done bypassing Google TOS.

Good luck, cheers!

Chuck, steer clear of Fiverr for paid traffic to your website it will affect your business majorly in terms of google index etc. You will get a bad name by your website and it will break you. We made one mistake before and bought instagram followers off Fiverr when we initially started as we thought we were on to a winner and they were all fake followers and done some damage to us and the business gets a bad name for itself. We deleted every follower and started again.

My advice to you is don't buy your way to success. If you learn the correct skills through the training and be consistent and persistent with taking action daily to get your website noticed through other ways like social media marketing, blogging, guest posting etc - you will get good healthy traffic.

hope this helps

Best,
Bradley

As far as my ezperience go, the only worth gig for internet marketing is the design gig. Content writing and seo (traffic) gig doesn't really worth it as others have answered.

Great answer! I agree I only use for design work!

Yep :) also, social media marketing gig to increase followers should be avoided. By the way, buying testimonial in video format might be worth here (but I haven't tried this one)

LOL even that I would be nervous about.... how many scammers have bought it at Fiverr and then your luck you get the same guy that did a video for the biggest scam ever Bwaahaaa. That would really be a killer move.

OMG thanks Lynne you just save my day :) Then it is quite clear that we just need design gig there :)

ROFL.... yeah seriously eeek right? I would make your own video. I did a few Youtube videos and they went down really well!

This is all crap they send a bit to do the work

Tried it and l had to cancel the order and got a refund. Half the traffic was send to my 'contact me page' and stayed for a max of 10 sec. Now with more detailed reviews l am getting thousands of visitors a month and l made $50 in 4 days when l tried out CPA on the website. Quality traffic as shown by improved membership upgrade conversions.

Work on your website, create quality content and you will rank and get organic traffic.

If you want to spend money on traffic rather do PPC traffic with Google Adwords or Bing .. or well I don't know because I haven't done much PPC but you can find the training here and I am sure members will help you out with info on how to do it :)

PPC is 100% worth doing. Get on Google Adwords or Bing like Lynn said to start - there is training that Kyle does. I've put the link below for you Chuck to check it out:

Chuck NO! Don't do it!

That is BS, none of it is real, it is all bots...

is there DEO preference?

is there conversion preference?

I prefer static page as I think it looks better and then viewer can choose where to go - keep the blogroll for the blogs - simple

Thanks Paul

prob neither depends on nature of the topic
My next website I am working on is i think just that --- static page
I dont expect it to be any less value than blogroll
in fact should be better
it showcases my mentoring/lifecoach business

Thanks for reply. I kind of feel that my main affiliate gets lost with blog roll. Perhaps another site design could help in that regard and still use blog roll. Chuck
