Pause for Advice & Fresh Perspective when You're Stuck Choosing a Niche
Stuck at WA and Getting into First Gear
Recently my old car developed problems with getting into first gear, with it getting tighter as the weeks went on.
I had no time to take it into the garage that I used as we were on a tight schedule traveling 140 miles each week to renovate our new house and get it ready to move in. We managed to finish the work and moved to our new "retirement" place of our own near the beach.
And then it happened. I couldn't manage first gear, no matter how I tried. Not knowing any trades here, O took it to the nearest workshop who informed me in the afternoon that it was a gear selector inside the gearbox. It would be too expensive for the value of my car.
I collected the vehicle and started looking for a good, used run-about with lowish mileage.
But then I decided to go for a second opinion because I paused and then got a hunch that this diagnosis was wrong. A few days later, I spun round to this run-down business that was run by an elderly man and his mechanic with a dingy office in the back of the workshop.
This was my kind of guy. It smelt of experience!
They took out the torch to see inside the hood while I jiggled the gear stick. And hey, presto! Not the gearbox at all, but gear cable. New insight form a fresh perspective and experience.
My transport was repairable after all. For the price of a new cable and a few hours labor, I was on the road safely again, hopefully for another year or more,
So here at WA I was stuck deciding on a niche. Everyone re-assured my from their own experience.
Personal experience counts- from people who have gone through the same. Not just a qualified theory.
Pause for a while and a fresh hunch will come. Problem solved.
Now I'm back in First gear again. Not just when I drive, but in the same way, niche chosen, and off in first gear and through to second gear.
Soon I will be going through the gears as I go through the training. We have six gears in a gear box now. That is Wealthy Affiliate! There is more than we need at any point on this journey.
My confidence that success will come is overflowing right now.
Thanks WA Community! Thanks, Daniell, Kyle and Carson.

Awesome as theory is so easy but doing is where you really learn so learning from doers beats the ---- out of theorists
