Editing tool.
Hey everyone, I want to take a moment to share a tool with you. It's something that has been a game changer for me as a writer. Editing content is an extremely important aspect of building a brand and becoming an authority on any subject. It looks professional and people are more inclined to continue reading if they are not caught up by a sentence that doesn't flow well.
I've been a writer for many years now and I use a desktop app called Hemingway Editor. It's a grammar and spell checker, but it's more than that. It tracks adverbs, punctuation, sentence structure, and passive voice as well as the usual grammar and spell checks. While it doesn't provide recommendations for changes, it will highlight them and leave them highlighted until the sentence flows easily. It will greatly improve your abilities as a writer and help you put out the best content possible.
It's available as a stand alone desktop app for purchase, but there is a free web version as well and I find that it works just as well as the paid version. I've used it to write everything from blog posts to novel chapters and short stories.
