My first earnings
Ok, so I will admit it's not the most exciting number in history, but I'm still very excited by it. I just earned my first 24 cents in google adsense. While not much, it does show me I am on the right track.
I was a member of Wealthy Affiliate a year or two back, but quit too soon. I decided to come back and try again. I have only had my new blog up since about Dec 13, 2015. I have 41 posts right now. I already have had almost 500 unique visitors as well as 108 subscriber's. I will admit to doing some advertising, both irl and online. Not much though. I'm not only cheap but can't afford it at the moment.
This gives me hope that we really are on the right track. It just will take some time. :)

Aw well, don't congratulate me after all. That 24 cents somehow disappeared. No clue why. And I am back to 0. Plus, there is no way google analytics is logging all of my traffic. I have evidence people are going to my page, yet the number remains unchanged. Not sure why.
Easy come, easy go, lol. I've had that happen as well.
No traffic analytics program is 100% accurate and there can be numerous reasons for it, including people skimming through pages so fast that the code doesn't have time to execute or people who don't have JavaScript enabled.
But don't get too hung up on stats.
Aw well, just a couple more days and I have $0.41 that seems to be sticking. And since that is just since starting the site on Dec 13, I think that is pretty darned good. It certainly gives me hope for the future.
Cool. Yes, a good start and it's even more fun when you earn commissions on products/services sold.
