It's another new week!

It's another new week and I'm happy I'm on wealthy affiliate. We just finished seven days of rain here in the mid-Atlantic U.S., bu today the sun is out and the skies are blue.

Last week I was a bit rambunctious. I was very gung ho and chomping at the bit to post new content. Fortunately I was introduced to WA by a great mentor (Eddy with a y) and he talked me into scaling back a bit, as far as my posting frequency.

I was trying to post nearly every day and Eddy told me, in so many words, that it was going to be difficult for me to keep up that pace and he was concerned about me getting burned out. His advice was to come up with two quality posts per week and if I had the energy and inspiration to write more, to bank them for future weeks when I may not have as much time, energy or inspiration. Great advice!

I ended up taking the weekend off and gave my wife some much needed attention. We headed to our family lake house for some R&R, sans kids. Although the weather was gloomy, it was nice to get out of town for a few days and unplug (no internet access or cable TV at the lake house).

We played cards and yahtzee. We also watched a great movie that I had never heard of before, The Age of Adaline. Just because I have never heard of it does not mean it is not popular. I live under a rock when it comes to the movie industry. It was a really decent romantic dram, albeit a bit chick flickish.

We feasted and drank wine and remembered what it is that made us fall in love. It was a great weekend and a much needed break.

So hear I am, back at my work desk, refreshed and rejuvinated. I'm looking forward to getting some time later today to work on my websites. I needed the break but I'm eager to continue working towards my goals.
