I Think My Audience is Engaging
I was just checking my stats on Google Analytics. I'm happy to say that it looks like my audience is being engaged by my content on my niche website.
The site averaged 15 minute duration and over 5 pages per session yesterday. I think that's a pretty good indication that the content I created yesterday was engaging. I don't think that's too bad for a site that is less than a month old.
My bounce rate is a bit disconcerting, though.
As you can see, yesterday my average was 47%. I'm not sure if that's something to be worried about or not. I did have two days where my bounce rate was 100% but I had not published any content and had not asked for any website feedback or comments on those days.
Can anyone give me some input on either of these numbers? Am I overly optimistic about my engagement or overly concerned about my bounce rate? I know my site is a newborn baby but I would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me.

Hi, Christian, well I have more or less the same graphics and more or less the same questions, so I hope your blog will get some response...
But I have already had the same feeling; when I do not do much to my sites I have bad numbers (especially indeed the bounce rate) and when I am very active the numbers are a lot better.
So Tuesday my bounce was 100% and yesterday 0%, that's a big difference...
Grtz,
Bert
Keep in mind that you are pretty new and there is not that much for Goog to work with. It will smoothe out.
