Letting Go, Moving On, Getter Done

Firstly, I was halfway done writing this and I accidently deleted it. I was wondering, maybe I'm not supposed to put this out there because I was wrestling with whether I should post this. Then I thought, no, fate is in my hands this time. I need to do this.

OK, here it goes...

Years ago, I was growing into the kind of person I wanted to be unapologetically. Entrepreneurship had to become a part of the journey. During the first I don't know how long I absorbed myself into knowledge, utilizing all the tools I could find to grow my local business. Yes, WA was playing a role. It helped so much! Then, some very dark years followed because of something that happened which led to circumstances that were out of my control. I hate the word victim. I have to believe that whatever happens in life, this is the path you need to walk and the lessons shape you into the person you need to be.

Crippling PTSD affected everything from my online presence to my business to my health. Every time I thought I was ready to put myself out there again something would pull me back into a black abyss. It was a never ending cycle. I know that sounds dramatic but it's the only way I can describe what was happening.

Now, a peace has settled over me and I think my time is here. Wrong words. I KNOW my time is here. I'm stronger, wiser, humbled and grateful. I made it to the other side as they say and I'm doing well. I'll probably always have a day when it's not so good but who doesn't? I know what helps me and I know it'll be ok.

WA is a perfect catalyst. Through it all, it's why I never left. I've kept up with the comings and goings here along with the training; little me in the background chiming in with a few comments and likes. What's next? I logged into my FB account and I'm going to start posting. It's a good start. Soon, we'll see what I can accomplish here. WA is freakin awesome! I'm still apprehensive about putting myself out into the interwebs but it's time to get the new and parts of the old me back out there.

I hope this will help whomever may be struggling. Life is hard but if we numb ourselves from the bad we numb ourselves from the good. And remember, there's always someone that's got your six.

See you soon,

Christina

P.S.

My business that I started originally is up and running!

Christina, thank you for sharing this deeply personal and powerful post. ๐Ÿ™

Your journey speaks volumes โ€” not just about resilience, but about the quiet strength it takes to rise again after life knocks us down hard. PTSD is no small mountain, and the fact that youโ€™re here, sharing, rebuilding, and embracing your time again is beyond inspiring.

I love how you said, "fate is in my hands this time." That line gave me chills. Itโ€™s a bold declaration, and itโ€™s exactly the kind of mindset that transforms not just businesses, but lives. ๐Ÿ’ช

WA truly is an amazing place โ€” and having people like you in it makes it even better. You never really left, and now that you're stepping fully back in, I just know your voice and experience will help others who are walking through the dark too.

Rooting for you 100% as you โ€œgetter doneโ€ โ€” and so glad you're on this side of the mountain. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Keep going. Youโ€™re already doing it.

To new beginnings and unapologetic growth! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’›

โ€” Daniel

Thanks for sharing Christina!

I like to say, Everything happens for a reason.

Sometimes it takes time to find the good reason, but it's there to eventually reveal itself.

A few things are truly just part of life.

No one is going to move us forward, but ourselves.

Glad you are taking action.
