Oh No! Did I Write 2 SiteComents in the Wrong Area? :(

Today, I started to explore back into SiteComments. I couldn't find my notes but I went through it any way.

Know SiteComments and SiteFeedback does get some of us confused on what to do in each area properly. I am one of them that was confused every time it was time to go in those two areas.

For one, I know how resourceful both areas are. Yet, why for whatever reason we get confused may become into fear. Well, my fear being in those areas:

  • Trying to give great feedback or comments
  • Is this going to hurt someone's feelings from my critique on their content?
  • Am I writing the correct words in the right area!?! (The main fear of all.)

This fear started to begin after I wrote my first 2 'SiteComments' today. Before I allowed the fear to take over of me. I recognized it right at that moment.

You know how those fears come over you, where you want to dig a deep hole and throw your computer right in it, lol.

Although, that won't fix the problem that you have to over come.

Those 2 members, my deepest applogize for writing a Sitefeedback within SiteComments. I know some of us do this more than we want to admit, getting those two areas mixed up.

However, I may have a solution that may help the mix up.

When Using SiteComments:

Think about it like this,

You are not yourself at this moment; like an actor on stage. You are playing another person that looks you looking for that particular website.

  • Gravatar: Having a Gravatar, is like virtual of yourself. In a sense, is not truly you. You are playing a part of a person that you made.

When I wrote my 2 my comments, I acted like a person going through the websites looking for their niche and clicked on that particular page or post of interest.

However, towards the end it sounded like feedback about that page. I didn't notice it until I finished the second one. My mind felt confused for a moment.

Was that a comment or feedback I just wrote for those two members? Yes and No. AHH Mann!! :(

Before I explain why I answered yes and no, let's go over Site Feedback.

When using Site Feedback:

  • No Gravatar: You can be yourself in Site Feedback because this is where you are seen as You (a member).

This is where you look at someone's website as they would ask you how their 'new outfit' looks on them.

That's when you question yourself:

  • Does the website as whole catch your eye?
  • When navigating through the website like menus, do they go to their proper location or not?
  • Is it hard to read the words, from size of font or too many paragraphs bunched together?
  • What did you like or disliked about the website?

Site Feedback is the area you can tell your WA friend the truth. Rather than telling the truth in the public eyes like in SiteComments which goes show on their website.

SiteComments: Cooments are public to the world.

Site Feedback: Comments are within the community.

OK, we understand what is the difference between the two. I don't feel confused anymore while writing this post of these two areas.

Yes and No. I Wrote 2 into 1...

Now, I can explain, why I answered yes and no to my question. When I started my comment, it was going along very well. As I got to the middle and the end, I started writing like a member giving feedback instead. I couldn't rewrite it now.

Moving Forward...

I understand between the two now! :-)

When I am in SiteComments, I am a Gravatar.

Being in Site Feedback, I am a WA BFM(best friend member) telling you how you look. Well, your website ;-)

Now I can move forward with understanding and working within the two. I'm not scared anymore :-)

So be on the look out for my Site Comments and Feedbacks!! ;-)

Were you confused about Site Comments and Site Feedbacks?

Let me know if this post helped you in any way.

Til next time,

WA BFMs ;-)
