First 24 Hours Without This Bad Habit
Hello WA Family,
I wanted to tell you about my defeat in the last 24 hours which has been off and on battle for the last three weeks. I had a bad habit that I couldn't deal with any longer. This habit came about with stress and being others with bad habits.
Although, I changed my eating habits to vegan about 2 months ago; that bad smoking habit still lingered on. Last week I had enough of it! I gave myself a countdown to the last day, which was Friday. Saturday, was the first day of the new beginning of me being nicotine free :-).
However, my other bad habit, of staying seated in front of my computer, that's another story. Well the excuse I gave myself was that I needed a cigarette to stay seated. That was not true and was a seriously ugly excuse.
Today, is the second day of being free of nicotine. I know it is the beginning and it will be hard. But when I start something, I've learned how to fight and find a way to get through it. I know in 72 hours will be the kicker for me. I'll let you know if I won the battle.
Do you have any bad habits that get in the way of your progress to success?
Til Next Time Family,
Chrisie

I wish you a success in fighting this habit. I gave up it myself after ore than 22 years of smoking.
I won't and yes it is a fight indeed. This may be one of my biggest challenge of discipline. Wealthy Affiliate has changed me so much as a person, even before my website has truly developed. I really do struggle with a lot but like you said don't give up the fight.
Thank you for the encouragement :-)
Actually it sounds like we have very similar bad habits. The thought of quitting has been tumbling around in my head.
That's how I was feeling. Until I couldn't get any sleep or get anything done. I never thought I had so many bad habits that were blocking my progress and this was one of them.
What really made me stop was when I found out that I wasn't smoking any nicotine at all. I am looking to control my own freedom and didn't notice cigarettes were doing that for me.
I didn't want that stinky, smelling, so-called buddy controlling my life anymore. I had to cut the ties to that friendship ;-).
Just give it a try. If the thought is tumbling in your head, your body maybe is trying to tell you something...
Just take one day at a time. It will be hard, believe me. Only for the first 3 days though. By the fourth day, your habit will be gone.
If you need any help with it, let me know :-)
