Fired Up with Motivation!
Hey WA family,
I have to tell y'all what happened today.
Someone told me out right, "What you are doing is Not a Job! Get a Real Job!"
I have come a long way because that would have gone in such the wrong direction in my younger days. I was a fire cracker, lol. :-)
That gave me more fire to stay in WA and to keep more focused.
Nobody truly knows the struggles you go through, only what they see on the outside. No, it's not fair but that's their opinion.
People will look at you in so many ways not knowing what you are going through but they will say some of the meanest or hurtful things that a person can say.
Well, give me the fuel for my fire!
Yes, I maybe on the edge of everything falling around me. That does not mean that I will give up.
What is the difference in me starting a new job right now. I still will have to wait on a check where someone else assumes what I am worth. And because where I live you work so hard for nothing.
No I haven't seen revenue yet from my websites but I will. I know I will.
All I'm saying my friends is, don't let your world overcome you because it will change in due time.
When I see that person again I am confident their words will be different... No I will not be mean, however, the proof will show for itself.
Just wanted to share my experience of how people can TRY to detour you from your DREAMS.

I've been doing this since 1999, and still most friends and some family members still don't understand what I do. They will realize it is a real job when you start cashing the checks. Until then, work a regular job if you need to so you can pay your bills, and spend the rest of your time turning this into your dream.

Thank you for your blog post, I understand what you are saying, I have had people say similar things to me! Unfortunately, the majority of people don't seem to understand the power of the Internet and even when I try and explain to some people they really don't get it! I remember the Principal of the Bible school that I was studying in a few years ago used to talk about having the right people around you and running as fast as you can from the people who are destructive, I will never forget this!
We need people around us who believe in us and will encourage us!

I guess they don't see the power of the internet or allowing their defeat of life onto you.
Now when I hear people say, "Oh you can't do that," I know they are talking about themselves onto me.
People have a way of sharing their misery because they always need company. Instead, they rather dwell in their misery than to see a way out.
That is not a place I want to be and staying away from. I've been there and don't plan on going back :-)
My father was a preacher before he passed 5 years ago. That man was my rock of support. I miss him so much :-(
My father used to say, "It's better to show them than to tell them."
I didn't understand it then but I understand it now ;-)

You have written a great and encouraging comment for many people above, it sounds like your father had a good way of putting things and I agree with him.
I am sorry to hear about your father, but it sounds like he's in a good place. The Christian life is eternal, such a wonderful and beautiful thing.

There are so many people who will put down many things we do in life but we need to be strong enough to see past it and put their opinions aside.

I know newbies may be going through struggles like being unemployed, or can't work at all. That is hard enough when people look at you and think, " Oh they are lazy, they Won't find a job." And that not the case at all.
I wish I could learn this stuff much quicker but minds don't run like others. We all learn things differently and in different ways.
I won't let people stop me or let myself stop me either.
The main battle is, 'yourself.'
Some people will get in this mood where they can't accomplish anything and become stuck in their own mindset.
It is a crazy trip for some to go and not knowing they are taking themselves down a bad deep hole. I know that hole and I am tired of being down there.
I truly understand those feelings and you can't let them win. I guess this needs to be encouraging words on my wall. ;-)
