Recapping the first month

This blog post recaps my first month at Wealthy Affiliate. If I remember correctly, I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate while looking for a domain name. After that stumble, I tripped and fell in with a truly wonderful community of kind, like-minded people who earn, or want to earn, a viable income working for themselves and help other people achieve that goal if they so desire.
I joined Wealthy Affiliate on 26 June, 2013 - as you all know that allows premium access for 7 days. Well, those were a busy seven days at my JOB and I didn't do much with the information that's accessible for premium members within that first week. Now, I don't know about you but I just hate "locked" content. If I have access to something, I want it ALL!!! So, nearing the end of the seven days, I joined Wealthy Affiliate for one month as a premium member. As it is usual with the excitement of beginnings, my second week saw a flurry of activity! I completed the first two lessons and bought a domain name from 'GoDaddy!'. I read people's Wealthy Affiliate blogs, read the weekly training material, and joined people's network. In the back of my mind I kept thinking…how much time will I spend on my new venture in a month and do I need a one year premium membership. (You already know the answer.)
In my first month I learned a lot and I am inspired by the Wealthy Affiliate community. I do want to thank a few individual members publicly but please know that I THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, your support, and for your generosity. I want to thank Lee Gamelin for his inspiring blogs. The topics are always time-appropriate and so many of the quotes he incorporates in his blogs are thought-provoking. My fave is "Everything I want is standing at the door of my consciousness." I say this every day, time and again. Thanks to Matt Martin for showing me the importance of goal-setting, for being so honest about his weekly goal-setting results, and for not giving up. I enjoy reading Matt's blogs which I find informative, inspiring, and well-written.
Again, I thank each and every person who follows me and those whose network I have joined. Each person gives me something very meaningful as I walk this new path; I hope to do the same, as I journey with you. Lastly, big thanks to Carson and Kyle for making all of this possible.
