Month three

I spent the first week of this month on a hot, sunny, Caribbean island where internet access may as well be impossible. I had planned to write while I was there but all I was inclined to do was nothing at all. So, I came back well-rested, determined to earn more money, and determined to be my own boss so that such marvelous destinations need not only be enjoyed annually!

Oh, but it was hard to get back into the groove! After a full work day I came home to my websites to find myself motivated but exhausted as daylight hours are shorter now and I dread winter’s approach. Never mind! Snap out of it! I said.

This month I promoted Wealthy Affiliate to friends. It’s been a campaign in sharing all that I know with everyone I know on every medium I can think of because most of my friends are like me – they want to be masters of their financial destiny!

This month I started Bootcamp and built the framework of another website. I’m really excited about promoting Wealthy Affiliate; the only other products I get this excited about is everything Apple! I have been re-reading my own Street Article Money, Money, Money to fight the urge to buy the iPhone 5S! LOL ;-) I really had fun writing and having my first Street Article published.

Mid-month, I joined Jaaxy. At last I have given up buying a coffee a day in exchange for something of redeemable value! Before I joined Wealthy Affiliate, I had never heard of a keyword. Kyle, thanks very, very much for the Keyword Riches 2012/2013 Edition which for me is full of very, very valuable training. Now I can not only see the endless opportunities in keywords but I know how to search, ... search... and search, which is really a skill in itself!

After three months I can say that I know I need to focus on keyword research/training, so Kyle's training document came at the best time for me; and, I need to write a lot more because my sites are out there without much content and it's time I change that. I've scheduled a day off from work each week over the next six weeks so I can focus on these tasks and I've set specific, time-bound goals per Mike's goal-setting training! :)

This month I became more comfortable with my knowledge about websites and more comfortable in making my way around our very informative Wealthy Affiliate site. It's been another great month of moving forward with training, doing, and learning.

As we each set goals, take on new challenges, and work toward personal and financial success, I leave you with this quote by Emerson, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience".
