We Should Work Together

What Makes Us Strong?

Part of SEO is creating links, more importantly, backlinks. Being in this community together will make it so we can leverage our network to help drive traffic to our websites, collectively.

We can accomplish this through link sharing, by guest blogging on each other's sites. To do this we will address aspects just outside of a particular niche that our host is close to. From here we backlink to our site, but our counterpart does the same on our website. This allows us to fulfill our content goals at the same time as establishing backlinks and external links.

This type of system could provide not just one of us, but all of us, who participate, with momentum toward driving traffic to our websites. Bolstering those adjacent to our niche has the potential to combine both sources of traffic. That doesn't mean, I think we should arbitrarily link each other, but rather we should work together where appropriate to bolster each other's expertise through our own.

Tell Us Your Niche

If you have a website and a niche, comment below.

We can align our niches in various ways, much like email segmentation. We can work together to create crossover ideas between our websites. Inevitably bridging large gaps and launching a networking web.

This web will not only help us rank better organically through the Search Engine Results Page (SERP), but It will also get us all direct traffic through said links.

Rules of Engagement

Don't opt-in if you can't follow these rules.

  1. Nobody is required to accept your article. It doesn't matter why, you will accept the rejection and move on. Although I would encourage criticism and a chance to let the article meet the standards you uphold, you are not obligated to engage besides an acceptance or a rejection.
The person whose article is rejected is not allotted to create conflict upon rejection, you may resubmit a new article after rejection, but only with the intent of increasing relevance or undoing whatever mistake you have been told, or presume to have made. Don't abuse this rule!
  2. These are short-term agreements, that are not intended to contract, and do not hold it to a contract.
  3. This is not a financial exchange (don't make it one) and is designed to build teamwork while learning how to engage in link building.
  4. This is for fun and education if that is your intent, we should all have a good time.

This is a Networking Excercise

We can get to know what we are doing collectively and see where our niches intersect. It is like this outside our community as well, but the outside is bigger and it can be harder to decipher who we can connect with. We can think of it as an internal segmentation of the market.

We can work together in this by pointing out niches that closely align and figuring out how niches outside that can eventually intersect.

I Propose We Work Together

We can share between Google docs and all of that for articles and presentations, but I think collectively we should either opt for an internal VOIP or use something external created by Kyle or Carson, like a Discord or a Teamspeak server, if there isn't already.

If you want to be involved in this comment below and we will work the rest out in the wash as a group.

Thanks, Chris C.

I'd find groups | forums related to my niche, give a hand help about folks will naturally ask what you do, I build a network. Thank you for sharing, Christopher and have a great weekend.

That is great advice as well. It is important to work within a niche and be part of that community. Probably more important. I believe there is opportunity to cross genres as well. Building a network in only one community is like only streaming on twitch and thinking you have evergreen content. We have a somewhat unique opportunity to cleverly diversify while still pursuing our own niche in our own network.
This in no way is with intention of inhibiting outside growth, but rather a stepping stone on the path, while simultaneously diversifying.
Have a good weekend as well.
