The Learning Never Stops
Coming into to Wealthy Affiliate I thought I knew quite a lot about building a business online. I figured I was just at a stage where I needed just a little help to get me to that next level. Course 1, at first, seemed like a big disappointment to me because I was sure I was way past that level, after all I already had a website that looked nice and had plenty of content.
Of course I raced through Course 1 hoping to get to the more advanced lessons. Lessons that would hopefully unlock the key to the next level of business for me. But then, after a few conversations with people I had met here on the WA platform, it dawned on me. Just as with Course ,1 I had raced ahead with my website - FabGizmo.com - and was far from ready for the next level.
The reason I was having trouble getting to the next level was because I had not yet built up a foundation. I am in a highly crowded market. I knew that going in, but this is an area of interest for me and I have learnt that there is always room for more in a market. The trouble is that I had overlooked a couple of fundamentals; uniqueness and catching the low hanging fruits.
I had started to do what everyone else was doing and as a result was trying to compete with other businesses tat were in the game for several years. Then I had the gaul to wonder why I was not seeing any results. Well now I realise my mistake and am now excited to make the pivot into a more suitable lane.
What does this realisation mean for me? Well first it means that I am going to return to Course 1, lesson 1 and work through the steps at a slower pace. It also means I will have think more carefully about the steps I take in my online venture. Ultimately it means that I am grateful that I came to Wealthy Affiliate when I did because I dread to think how many more months of effort I could have wasted just spinning my wheels.
The biggest lesson for me is that I should never stop seeking opportunities to learn. If you think you know enough, you probably don't. I'm starting again from scratch. And this time I will focus on building a strong foundation.

You are absolutely right, we never know everything. In fact, the more we learn, we begin to understand how little we actually know. However, you are off to a very nice start, your site looks very nice. Surely with the help of the community here, you will be successful.
