The easy way to set up google analytics
When I first tried to do this, I struggled to get it to work. Eventually I stumbled upon the easiest, most foolproof method ever. Let me save some newbies some growing pains...
All you need for this method is your analytics ID, which get from your actual analytics account when you take the first step in setting up a website, and the all in one SEO plugin installed and activated. Go to the all in one SEO tab directly underneath "dashboard" and scroll down until you reach "google settings." Fill in the "Google Analytics ID" field then scroll to the top or bottom and click "update options."
Annnnd you're good! Go to your analytic account and it should be tracking your visits.

Thanks :) The only problem I have is that Google has a bogus site already filed for me, and won't let me put the new one in. And THAT is a trick to get around. Thanks again though, I have faith it's only a blip :)
It's also worth doing it as the three-in-one following Craig's (@welshy) training https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-set-up-google-authorship-verify-with-webmaster-tools-google-analytics :) Rich.

Simple, no? So, no need to copy codes to every page? Thank you.
I've set it up in a couple ways now and this has the be the easiest. The only drawback is I don't know how to get the data to ignore your own visits with this method.
http://goo.gl/Ex60XE this should take you to a video on ignoring your own site visits. hope this helps!
