New Pop Up, Sticky Footer and Trigger Button - and Just To Think I Almost Hired Someone!

Today I am writing from Tbilisi Georgia. Having come from Yeravan Armenia after a few days in Rome - I have been here now for around 3 days. I try not to get too engrossed with work when I am on these trips but it also can be very motivating in a way.
My usual protocol is to start writing down ideas on the plane and try to use my time away to make positive changes to come back home to.
One of these I wanted to do was Improve my lead generation elements. I learned yesterday about how to add a form in my content with with the patterns function in WordPress and today I learned something else even cooler.
Actually two things about using a Sticky footer and also a trigger button for my pop up.

Now, so last night I was talking to a lady on Fiverr for hours trying to negotiate some work being done. I only wanted a new pop up done as my last attempt I felt was pretty rubbish - we was talking back and forth for a while before eventually she quoted me $200 USD - I had to draw the line here but actually this got me thinking about doing this work myself.

This is my pop up redesign by the way - it actually was not that hard to fix;

Feedback would definitely be appreciated on what you think of this design but this wasn't the only thing I did of course. The Sticky Footer I never even thought of using before - it was a suggestion by ChatGPT.

I am using this with my lead capture page and I have to say I think it looks great and best part is these are perfect for mobile. The only problem I had was my scroll up arrow was being covered up by my new sticky bar but again I asked ChatGPT and it give me the CSS code to move this up the page a bit higher.

Another new lesson learned today. I'm actually quite excited by this discovery. Of course I think my new pop up is miles better than the last one but I never knew that rather than just having this appear automatically or on exit intent that I could as well create a button that makes this appear whenever someone clicks on it.

I could have done with knowing this months ago - even years ago. It is a great idea I think.

So, when you create a pop up (Systeme.io in my case) there is a create link button which generates a script code.
It took me ages to figure this out but what I did was copied the code into chatgpt and told it what sort of button I wanted. It is pretty easy to do I thought and one I successfully made it I saved as a pattern block for reuse.

So now every new post I will look to add this in twice and I think it is only a matter of time before this starts getting me sign ups. Especially with the new pop up design and the sticky footer.

It actually feels like I have saved myself $200 and going backwards with someone elses ideas. I am kind of curious what they would want to do with my lead capture page but I think I will see soon enough what work I need to do with the backend as I think now the front end is looking pretty good.
