One Rung At A Time

Life always manages to find ways to distract us at times, and throws hurdles in our path. Yet we manage to keep moving forward by eliminating the obstacles.

It's been pretty stormy here in the Ozarks lately, and last night I noticed my gutters were not draining well. Naturally I became curious about this because I have lived here a long time and this has never happened before.

So first thing this morning I get out the ladder to investigate. It seems that my not so thoughtful (and gladly former) neighbors had thrown tennis balls on my roof. Instead of retrieving their ball they just got a new one. There were three of them in my gutter and one lodged in the drain.

I got to thinking about it and those tennis balls are a lot like some obstacles that I have encountered while building my websites.

Onward and Upward

Several years ago I had an opportunity to take some college classes. At that time I hadn't been in a classroom for over thirty years, and it was really a lot to take in all at once. I took a computer class in order to help me keep up with the times and I really learned a great deal.

Things sure have changed in the last ten years! Much to my surprise; quite significantly. I am having to re-learn all the things that I learned in that class. Sometimes I get frustrated, but it's really no different from finding tennis balls the gutters. It's just those little things that slow down progress.

I know that all I have to do is keep climbing the ladder

Perseverance Rules!

Observation and persistence has brought me to where I am today. I have decided on a niche that I am somewhat knowledgeable about, and that I care about.

Health and fitness is something that the majority of people are inquiring about. Looking for healthy food choices, and/or weight loss plans. The audience is enormous, and the opportunity to help others makes this niche rewarding.

I am looking forward to creating more content and continue to grow in this niche by exploring all of its potential. What I may lack in speed I make up for in determination, and in the process finding that it will become second nature to me just as everything else I've ever done has.

Goals Can Change

In the beginning of my journey here at WA I was working full time and not being able to dedicate as much time as I wanted to. It seems that my situation is about to change, and my financial future is uncertain for me.

Although it is easy to have fear of the unknown, I find myself pushing away that fear and reminding myself that this isn't the first time I have encountered life changing events. I have always managed to find success on my path by not giving up.

My goals may continue shift, but I know I have to kick fear aside and keep working hard to reach the new, and tougher goals. I am planning to start new campaigns to promote products so that I may meet my financial goals sooner.

Keeping an Eye on the Goal

Sometimes it seems that obstacles appear to us as being enormous. That truly can be quite frightening. They seem like they are impossible problems to solve.

If we take a step in the right direction with faith in ourselves, the courage to face our fears, and never losing sight of our goals, that in itself is success.
