Repurposing existing content
Something I read on one of my Facebook forums that I thought might be of interest, and something that had never even crossed my mind.
Repurposing existing content is an efficient way to reach new audiences, reinforce your message, and extract more value from the work you've already done. Here are some strategies and ideas to help you repurpose your blog posts into various formats:
Infographics: Infographics are a visually engaging way to present data, tips, or processes. Identify your most popular or information-rich blog posts and transform them into visually appealing infographics. This could involve using tools like Canva or Venngage to design custom graphics, charts, or illustrations that highlight key points from your post. Infographics can be shared on social media platforms, published on infographic directories, or even embedded within related blog posts.
Podcasts: If your blog posts cover complex topics or interview-style content, consider turning them into podcasts. You can record audio versions of your posts or even invite experts to discuss the topic further. Podcasts can reach a wider audience, especially those who prefer consuming content through listening rather than reading. You can host your podcast on platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Google Podcasts to expand your reach.
Videos: Creating video content is a powerful way to engage your audience and improve search engine visibility. Transform your blog posts into video tutorials, explainers, or animated summaries using tools like Animaker, Powtoon, or Adobe Spark Video. You can share these videos on your blog, YouTube channel, or social media platforms. Videos can also be a great way to promote your blog content, as they can attract a different audience segment and encourage viewers to visit your blog for more information.
Email Newsletters: Convert your blog posts into email newsletters, either by sharing the full article or providing a summary with a link to the original post. Email newsletters help you maintain a direct line of communication with your audience and can drive traffic back to your blog. Use tools like Mailchimp or ConvertKit to manage your email list and design visually appealing newsletters.
Social Media Posts: Break down your blog posts into bite-sized snippets, tips, or quotes and share them on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Use eye-catching visuals and relevant hashtags to attract attention and encourage users to click through to your blog. You can also create carousel posts or threads that provide a brief summary of your blog post and entice readers to learn more.
Ebooks and Guides: Compile related blog posts into comprehensive ebooks or guides, providing additional insights and depth to each topic. These resources can be used as lead magnets, helping you grow your email list and attract potential customers. You can also offer your ebooks on platforms like Amazon Kindle or Gumroad for monetization.By repurposing your existing blog content into different formats, you can reach new audiences, reinforce your authority in your niche, and maximize the value of the work you've already invested in creating high-quality content.

I do that with Youtube a lot!
Horizontal long form video for HowTos and better earnings on ads. Convert to shorts video format for more reach. Use shorts video then on Tiktok, Instagram and X. Depending on the content of the how to video I can turn it into a blog post on a relevant website.
You are on the right path and doing this right. I have read and watched plenty of videos about this exact list you have written here. Repurposing old content for new eyeballs.
I was also taught this in college. My previous professor spoke of this strategy three weeks ago. You can take a small segment of the old content and target a whole different audience with it as well.
For example: You have a 5min video talking about gardening tools. Go through the video and find one part that you like, cut 60 seconds from that part and turn it into a short video. Or you can do this multiple times in different parts of that five minute video.
Make six different videos segment cuts and combine it into a new video that would equal one 1minute (60 seconds) short video that can be promoted on YouTube,TikTok, or Instagram.
You are doing a good job and have the right ideas. Stay with it!
