Totally Confused by Webmaster Tools & Google Analytics

I absolutely do not get Webmaster Tools & Google Analytics. They make no sense. On the one hand, it looks like my WA site isn't indexed, yet, but it shows that almost half of the traffic (such as it is) is returning traffic. While my other site seems to be losing traffic. What the heck does that mean?
Nothing is explained in plain language. I find it incredibly confusing. It makes me mad!
I am not a dummy but I need an "Understanding Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools for Dummies".
There's no need for comments because I'm just venting. Seriously. I'll get over it. Thanks for "listening".
