I haven't used any other sites here but like beauandnik said, you can use previously built sites and transfer them here and continue building them accordingly to the courses you complete here :)

not quite sure what you mean "just added to their sites". I had a blog prior to WA and transferred it over here to take advantage of the hosting it offers. I still have other sites hosted elsewhere as well as blogger/wordpress etc
