Family Project
Today my eleven year old daughter Ella and I launched our new website dedicated to Kids' Fitness. It's a great learning experience for both of us and quite a different learning experience to the bootcamp one I'm also having.
Please have a look if you are interested. We don't want to be ranked just yet, we just want to build a solid foundation and learn what works and what does not. I'm a bit worried about people seeing it at all at this stage but feedback is an important part of the learning process and we are both newbies at this.
Peace
Jo

Site looks great. Everything is coming along nicely. I think its great that you and your daughter are working this together and getting kids to be more active at the same time is awesome.
Keep up the good work and have a great day!
Thanks Burnzy, and thanks for sending a comment to Ella, she will need to find a spare two hours to reply to your comment but the boost this has given her confidence is so wonderful :)
your site looks wonderful and most kids love angry birds, you have done a great job well done girls .... keep up the good work
Thanks Katie. The hardest part at the moment is Ella finding time to blog and answer comments, she takes it so seriously she spends two hours answering a comment ;)
it must be lovely though to share this venture together and it shows you how Ella is taking responsibility for her part in it,, well done to both of you
Outstanding idea. Kid's are a great resource for what's workable and popular. When I was teaching I would always ask my HS students where to eat. They even knew what to order. Kid's seem to have a great network. All the best to you and your daughter in this venture.
Thanks Diva. Your right, kids are a great resource. I need to stop complaining that my 11 year old shows me how to utilize my smart phone and just appreciate that she can :)
Thanks MisterWailor, thanks for commenting on Ella's blog, she was so excited she went bright red and rushed to reply to your comment like her life depended on it :)
Hi Jo - What a great idea and a nice start.
Just one thing at the moment. I would either swap to a static page ( just at the moment) while you're adding to you site - so it's obviously immediately what it's all about - or (and this will be just as good) - I would create a welcome widget in your side bar that gives a brief overview of the site. It's just at the moment that disappears in the blogroll. If you theme allows it - I would actually only have two columns rather than three - but that's just a personal view. :) Beverley
Great help Beverley, I did wonder about the static page out front, will try to change that tonight or try the welcome widget. I like the two columns idea, it look kinda funny the way it is, I will check that out too and see what I can do. Thanks so much for the suggestions, don't know where I'd be without you guys :)
