Questions on Healthy Eating

How would you describe the concept of healthy eating?

Healthy eating is guided by the importance of including real life giving nutrients into your menu. Most processed foods rob the body from essential minerals, while natural foods work with the body to build strength and vitality. It is much better to eat and prepare meals that will feed the cells instead of only feeding hunger.

What are some of the benefits of healthy eating?

Healthy eating improves the Quality of life, increases energy and vitality, affords one a stronger immune system which translates into fewer diseases, aches and pains.. Mental Clarity, Awareness, Consciousness with nature our source of life. A road to better personal choices in general. The list can go on forever.

How do we maintain access to healthy foods for those most in need?

Food security is governed by nature and agriculture. Proper methods of clearing, planting and harvesting will decide the quality of our food and its regular supply. It is also possible for those without large farms to do some backyard gardening. Simple necessities like chive, parsley, potatoes, spinach, beets, limes, pineapples, and so much more could be planted in and around the yard. Farmer’s markets and other food cooperatives are also very useful in keeping the quality and supply chain growing.

What is a balanced diet?

First of all I do not like to use the word diet to describe our food intake. Die being the root word in diet doesn’t lend itself to well to describing the choices that should be governing our sustenance. However, a menu including fresh fruits, organic vegetables especially dark green leafy ones like spinach and kale; coconuts, avocadoes, and other tree nuts, beans, and a variety of healing herbs are quite in keeping with what the body requires for health and strength. Drink spring clean water to keep your energy up.

Sorry but not many of us has access to "spring clean water" and rely on bottle water where we have to have faith and confidence in the quality of the water.Even your beautiful image spells -HEALTH.

Hi, are you going on the radio? Since I had cancer, I am especially careful of what I eat, and grow a lot of my own vegetables and fruit, organically. You can really taste the difference, as well as it being healthier for you and I love working in the garden. I also drink a lot of water (rain water) and do not drink any fizzy drinks either. You should let us know more about your story to inspire those looking for a positive solution to this deadly disease. Sadly wrong choices when it comes to food has lead to massive loss of lives and livelihood. The majority of Chronic Non Communicable Diseases have their foundation in poor nutrition and destructive choices at meal time. Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardio Vascular issues, and strokes etc. can be challenged and defeated by making better food choices. The SAD is deadly. We need to be GLAD. Continue doing well.
