Financial Ed

Greetings. We all know or should by now that education is the key to Success. The more informed we are the better our probability to make better decisions. This fundamental works even faster when it comes to the world of Money.
Unfortunately, money is not a subject in schools! Yet we use money to pay for every teacher, class, book and pen etc. Around the breakfast or lunch table we talk about everything else except how are we really paying for this meal? Children often hear the words, 'I can't wait till you are eighteen so you can get out on your own' . Yet these children have not been Financially Educated to live and succeed in a world governed by Money!
Most of us were given this kind of financial advice; "go to school and do well so you can get a job". Failure is the very best friend to the one who lacks knowledge. Since no one taught our parents either most of us find ourselves members of this destructive cycle. Some of us grew up and were never told that we could own our own businesses. The wealth of benefits that results from successful business operations was never a topic at Sunday School.

Thank God that men like Napoleon Hill was brave enough to write and remind us to Think and Grow Rich. By all means necessary gain knowledge; especially financial knowledge and experience - the true keys to YOUR Happiness! Have you ever asked yourself these questions:
What do I know about money?
Do I think that money is the root of all evil?
Do I know any wealthy "nice" people?
Who has been influencing what I think about money?
What is money? By definition? Money History?
Why does the tax department and social security get paid before I do?
What benefits are there to owning my own business?
How do I grow my Income?

Totally agree with you. There is a big difference between what you learn in college and what Napoleon taught. LOVE Napoleon. ~Debbi

I agree with you about Financial education. I believe it should be taught in all schools, but also parents need to display positive and educational guidance in the home. My Mother showed all of us children the importance of using a budget weekly for groceries, house bills etc, so we understood the importance of providing for the family, without getting into debt. Her guidance has helped us all in our lives as adults.
Regards, Lisa

It begins with the concept and the importance we place on being educated on the subject as a society on a whole. What matters to you? We learn about so many things that don't really matter to our progress. We should learn more about how money truly operates and helps us to function. Thanks for your feed back.

Financial education is a subject that fascinates me, that's my niche. Today, there are many people in debt because they are not good stewards of their income, not because they earn little money.
