Hello WA family,

I literally spent the WHOLE day jumping between Youtube videos, adding free plug-ins, and playing with different settings to design my landing page. I downloaded a website builder called Elementor and it took me forever to just do what I did today which is not even that much.

I need other sets of eyes because I am just exhausted looking at it and really do not know if I should continue with what I have or start over.

On the bright side, I am VERY happy that I even managed to do this myself. Never would I have thought I would be capable. I set my site to a state homepage and even managed to add posts to the front page with a "CTA" botton that says start here. This button leads to my other posts which may not really be logical or ideal but I was just playing around today lol

Obviously. the site is far from finished, especially the bottom section. where I made a logo and wrote "stay in contact". I was just brainstorming there and really not sure about that part at all.

Your comments would be GREATLY appreciated.

My site is:

www.truehealthhub.com

Thank you family,

Cynthia

Cynthia, what are you plans to monetize the site?

Health related products but I would need to expand on health products are services that are higher ticket priced. Right now I am building more content.

What are you thinking?

I was just curious what you had in mind. If you had chosen a women's health products company with an affiliate program.

I am currently still signing up and will wait until I have more content. I will start with some vitamins and supplements for hormone balance and move a little into nutrition. I have a health coaching certification but that's a whole other ball game to brand myself. I would love to add that to the mix as well eventually.

The certificate would be the first thing I would add to the about page. Not just mention it, but put an image up of it.

Yes I definitely will. I am just taing some courses now and want to complete then first.
I still have my health couching site - cynfinitynutrition.com - I eventually want to incororate this - I havent used it in 4 years though:(

Very nice site. Going forward, I suggest you do not put your email on your website. Use a contact form instead. There are bots that will scrape your email off your website and sell to spammers or use it themselves to spam you with offers.

If you do use an email, don't use info. That is the #1 spammed email address.

There are plugins you can use to create a contact form. Contact 7 is a popular one.

Good to know. Funny thing is I spent lots of money to build that site because I never would have attemoted like I am doing now to create my own site. I have been in contact with the developer to see what my options are to make changes or to switch it over to this website but looks like I have not been a priority with all that is going on today.

Do you have ftp access to the site and do you own the domain name? Did you register it yourself and do you have access to the registrar?

what is FPT access? Yes I own the domain and I yearly hosting fee with the develeper RSMedia.

FTP is being able to connect to the backend of your website where you can see all the folders, files, and images.

Your site is hosted at https://www.planethoster.com/en/. Your domain was registered at http://www.enom.com. Do you have login info for any of these?

I did know how to log into the back end but it was soley to add recipes for my clients and update my availabilty. However, I forgot how to log in and that is why I contacted the developer and also asked if I can do more and his seems very unsupportive of that but he sais he would contact me so we could discuss and I am still waiting.

Yes I have the login information for enom (now called hover I believe) and log in to pay every year. As for the hosting site, I do not believe. I just pay directly to the develpper and he deals with that:(

If you wanted to move your site to a different host, say here, then you would go to the Registrar and change the name server to the new host.

Is that site a Wordpress site? If it is and you had ftp info (get from the developer), just give that to your new host and they can move your whole site over.

Also, its not secure (no SSL on it). No one will buy from it.

Ya I am waiting for all these answers about it being wordpress or not. Seems like they are busy and since I am still so bisy with my new site here, building content, I am not too worried right now. Thank you so much:)

Love it!

No lies, it looks great!

Be proud of yourself and move on.

Now let's get some content in there. Because content is what is going to get you found and what is going to make you money. The pretty front end (not matter how good it is) will mean nothing, if people don't find you through your content being ranked.

Thank you so much. You are right. I'll leave it the way it is and start focusing on more content. Lol
I'm such a perfectionist i don't know when to stop!
Have a great night:)

Hello Cynthia.

When I started my blog, I also had no idea where to start and how to make it look good to me. You may take a look at my website, and if you have any questions, you may message me if you like.

Thanks,

Elephants

Also, make sure the font is in black font and not gray. It will help the visitor read it better.

Thank you @Elephants. I also realized that the title is all screwed up on mobile view vs desktop.

Not other suggestions?

Have you used the add in Elementor?

Thanks so much,

Cynthia

No, I have not.
