My Opinion Matters
I've been reading blogs that fall under the same niche as mine, for research and to get ideas on how I want my site to look. I'm working on filling my site with quality content. The blogs I've come across usually have post similar to Top 10 ways too.... or How to do this or that.
I assume these posts are someone's opinion or perhaps their own experience with certain things. I think I've been overthinking when it comes to deciding what to write about because I tell myself I don't know enough about certain things to write a post about the best ways to do something. For example, if I write a post about the 5 best nail polish colors, this would be based on my opinion. There is no way I can try every single color that exists so obviously I can only review the ones I've tried.
It all makes sense now and I'm ready to write about the things I know and have enough experience to tell others about. Please comment and let me know if I'm correct in thinking this.

Maybe you could just do it based on trends...like for example the nail polish colors for fall are....or these colors just in for fall...you can find things to talk about that is going on right now correlate it and then ask others what their opinions
Yes, I would assume that the 'ten best nail colors' is probably VERY subjective and you would get an argument from many people about it.
That is why you can locate, on shopping websites, the ten best-selling ones and use that list.
As far as do it yourself instructions, there are already a LOT of sites that have this instruction and rewriting a few of those will serve you well.
