So many ideas!
The most frustrating thing right now is I have so many ideas and not enough time to implement them.
I work my 45 hours a week, drive around 10 hours a week to that job, and then in my after hours, I put about 20 hours into freelance/contract work. I barely have time for TV and have about 1000 unread emails in my inbox.
I did manage to buy 3 domains and launch 2 websites in the last month. One is a niche site about ditching cable. I ran a facebook campaign and managed to get about 80 'likes'/fans to the fan page I made to push traffic to the site. Probably spent about $20 bucks. Not too bad.
My other site, which I wanted to start even before I joined WA is a story-telling community site. I found the perfect name and launched about 2 weeks ago. I went to craigslist and fiverr and payed writers to create content for me to get the thing going. Ultimately, the site will sustain itself with writers and facebook sharers that I WON'T have to pay for. I flooded this site with adsense. We'll see how it goes. It's getting 'ok' traffic just by me hiring the writers, but once I get a few people to the site and writing, and get the community built, I think I'll get some decent traffic. I'll have to keep everyone updated. I imagine I'll get a good push when I share on my own fb page.
But, yeah. Now I have so many ideas. As soon as I decided to give Affiliate Marketing a try, I came alive. So many options, so many opportunities. I just hope I can move my passion of web design to become my way of making money for myself and my family. So ready to be done working for other people.

I can relate to that CHattery :) Other ideas are now floating up into the air and I don't want to pick them up for a moment. I just keep on filing them once in awhile in MSWord files - park and pick up later! One thing am enjoying right now, I am starting to offer website setup using Wordpress to clients - I've already got one and delivered through... Wish you all the best!
I honestly don't know why I've waited til now to get into WordPress. I always liked hand-coding and doing it the hard way I guess. haha. I just started contracting for a new company who builds their sites in WordPress. I mean, I guess it's great I still know how to do everything behind the scenes, but WP is so much easier to get the ideas onto the web.
Yes, I agree with you Wordpress is much easier - I can't believe myself at first, am directly making my prototypes within Wordpress and its functional already. We use to do it in .NET before too tedious and stressful for me haha because I used to design and do the mock ups first before programming, I am the Business Analyst/Project Manager. So I really appreciate the fast delivery of clients' website. Am enjoying more now compared before :) Cheers!
