The First Step is the Hardest
Every endeavor, every accomplishment, every victory has a starting point. When looking through stories of any kind of success, whether personal, professional, physical or mental, many times the only thing reported is the actual end product. Very rarely is the work behind that precise celebrated moment applauded. For every "15 minutes of Fame" there are hundreds, even thousands of hours of work leading up to the crowning achievement.
In setting up a personal page, I am finally taking that first step to doing something I want to do, rather than doing what I have always done. I hope to find others to actively join in and begin the move forward. I envision my page as a place where someone can find inspiration to take their first step, no matter what journey they may be embarking on. I hope that my page will give motivation when wanted or needed, applause and celebration when warranted, direction when there is a question of which way to turn next, or just be a safe place to come to and spill one's guts about anything or everything that is driving you or preventing you in your own journey to become better.
I plan on posting in the future regarding my own personal journey as I begin my own transformation to better. I also plan on including links to the things that assist me on my way, and links for anything that may be of help to others.
I assume anyone still reading this far is interested in a better version of your present self.
So let's join forces and see how far we can go.
