Use Fear to Transform

There are 3 fears that hold us back in business , relationships and growth.

fear of failure
fear of not being enough–criticism
fear of not valuing our worth

In the news, our culture and day to day interaction, we are fed loss of control, being in debt or being stuck these are images everywhere. To counter this diet of failure, the action to take is to turn down this volume of news, look for the good and interact with steps for self control. Read uplifting news, share positive images, exercise and eat healthy. We must fortify ourselves to combat the stress of overindulgence in draining news, voices of defeat and feelings of loss. Look for solutions that enhance and build on character and integrity. Use words that are uplifting. Look for the good and seek out the good. Get rest and restore your body with actions that uplift. What are you eating and what is feeding you for solutions to restoring a balance in your life. Solutions can outperform the fear of failure.

Fear of not being enough is a voice that is within. This is the critic that is within. To stifle or reduce the effect of this voice, we must find and know what our strengths are. Find the pros in your situation. I may live in a neighborhood or a zip code that receives bad news. I do not need to internalize this. What can be done to change the perception? What are the resources that are available? Who do I know that can see something different or find a different outcome. To counter the critic, look for the solution that can transform the landscape. What is the value of the environment and how can we use this environment to control the critic voice. One example, I like is when a neighborhood does not have a viable source of healthy food or access, the neighborhood takes to sharing and growing food and teaching others how to grow food. The lack of access to healthy food a criticism is transformed the loss of control to access to healthy food growing in a community. Women and children are directly receive benefit of healthy foods and recipients of seeing something good growing in the neighborhood. By transforming the criticism and looking for the solutions for the problem, we can impact not only our lives but others as well.

Fear of not valuing our worth is a systemic problem and a generational. We do not see the value of what we bring to the table or our uniqueness or see it in the context of the world. Again looking for the solution is the key to transform our value and self worth. Women do not receive equal pay for equal work. Women do not arrive at retirement with enough to sustain beyond living in poverty. What are some solutions for this set of fears. Knowing what women have done before. There is strength in taking control of your finances, banding together with others who share a similar fate, do you know your rights, are you sharing your talents with other and learning how to create a business. Can you find a voice that is for solution seeking or niche to speak to.

Fear can be broken down into knowing the that fear is false evidence appearing real. The way to combat fear is to find solutions to problems. Find a group of like minded that is looking to transform the problem and make a difference. Read uplifting messages and surround yourself with the positive. Develop a daily routine and become consistent to work with fear through transforming into solutions.
