How do you pitch the idea of an affiliate program to a company that doesn't have one?

I know that some people in this business probably have the same question. I am lookin

Tell them what you can do for them.

If the site has a feedback or contact section, you could say something like "I was visiting your site. I didn't see an affiliate program for promoting your products/services. I would be interested should you ever do that."

But I wouldn't wait around for that to happen...lol.

What is your niche? Maybe we can help you find affiliate programs. Are you searching for it correctly?

Sometimes, the affiliate information is only mentioned in the footer menu. ~Jude

I'm trying to find an affiliate program for actual helicopters.

Actual helicopter sales companies would probably expect affiliates or partners to have an existing business and a capacity to attract buyers.

If you love helicopters, perhaps you can start out creating a website that promotes helicopter tours and sells hobby helicopter products, and then perhaps branch out from there.

As for actual helicopter sales, I found a company that offers what they call affiliate partnerships and referral programs. I'm guessing that to qualify with them, you would need to have an established website hosted on your own domain.

They offer referral programs for many aspects of their business.

You might want to contact them and ask them for more information about their referral programs so you can get an idea of what is involved.

There is a 10 day break to fill out your website more between the first and second phase of the bootcamp. I don't understand why this is there. Couldn't you fill out your websit

Hello Hans,

The suggestion to take a 10 day break in order to catch on your content is just that... a suggestion, if you feel that you can move on and have the house in order so to speak, by all means do so.

Thank you Jonicas,
It just seemed odd. I mean couldn't you build pages and posts while continuing your training?

Hello Hans,

I have some ideas on this particular point but lets leave at that...

Keep focused on that training, take notes, make sure you "get" all the training and apply the knowledge acquired right away while it is still fresh in your mind.

If you will allow me, create a test site on siterubix for experiments, your very own crash test dummy, like you can apply things you learn very quick without risking your main site.

Do your testing, once happy transpose it over.

Another VERY IMPORTANT TIP : BACKUP BACKUP!

In times gone by there were 3 levels of backup , grandfather, father, son, with rotation at all times, use different media your work , your hard disk, pens, CD / DVD, wherever possible keep a copy away from your house or office, it can even a safety deposit box in the bank.

In essence, somewhere very safe and at same time accessible to you.

Jonicas
