If you're struggling with Amazon Associates.

I signed up for Amazon Associates when it was recommended to do so. I however, did not have sufficient content and really struggled to make a sale.

After many hopes and wishes, I discovered a great way of making sales until I have a good traffic flow to my website(s). Facebook groups!

I belong to a few facebook groups that I strongly resonate with and people ask questions on products all of the time! I simply offer my researched opinion and give them a product. I have made over $400 in sales by doing this. Even if they do not purchase that exact product, they usually end up purchasing something from Amazon and then I get credit!

It is also a great place to post your content for people to read. I find people are very warm to the fact they you are writing from you own experience and enjoy connecting with you!

I hope this helps someone who is struggling to make that sale by 180 days!

Great idea Ciara. Is this ok eith Amazon?

Ciara, I'm interested in this approach! Great job on making $400 BTW!

When you offer a product suggestion in FB group, are you providing your direct Amazon affiliate link? Can you get away with that?

I was under the impression that FB could ban those posts and it was better to link to website content where the affiliate link resides.

Please prove me wrong?!

If someone posts on Facebook asking for, let's say Dog Boots. I will give them my review of the dog boots I have and/or would choose and link the product. Everyone links products on the post, mine just happen to be through my amazon affiliate.

I have been doing this for over a month, and it seems to be just fine!

I hope I am not doing anything wrong!

If there is a topic where I can just direct them to my website, I will opt to do that instead because I want to attract new people to my website, but most people want an easy solution, to be able to just click on something-- so that has been my approach as of late.

Thanks,

Ciara

Thanks for the super clear explanation Ciara! I think it's great that direct to affiliate links work for you. This helps know that this is possible. Thanks again!

Great idea. I have found FaceBook niche groups very useful too, although I have not personally recommend products with and affiliate link yet, I just share my posts there.

Well done that's a great way to get way to get your Amazon account verified!

Thank you for sharing!

That's awesome! I do the same. I pick and choose based on how the person directs their question as to whether or not I will post just a link or my website post.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!
