Do you have to write an article for your blog everyday ?

I thank everyone here for the feedback I got to my question. This really is a great community I don't feel left on my own here.

Charlie

My goal is 3.

I TRY to write at least 2 articles a week ... depends on other activities you may have. I'm not a fast writer and so I write every day and publish as soon as I can.

Two a week seems to be a realistic goal. Consistency is very important!

Once a week ends up once a month

If you only aim to sit down once a week and write one article start to finish them publishing once a month is a far more likely outcome.

For me it is crucial to sit down and write something everyday even if it just one paragraph for ten minutes.

Its always good to set up realistic goals otherwise you burn out. Do what is best for you in your time as long as you are not wasting time. For me I can spend two to three days writing + research and I will not post immediately because after a day or two I will revisit it and do some touch up. Its your choice to make it enjoyable otherwise you can call it quits.

When you launch your site, I would go for 5-7 times a week for the first 6-8 weeks but that is tough.

That schedule will help catapult the site in rankings, especially for a new domain.

After which 2-3 times a week. But never less than once a week.

Just remember the more content out there the more rankings you can get.

SO plan accordingly.

I started out doing 1 daily and very quickly burned out! I aim for 1-2 per week now. I would like to do more but it's not realistic when I have other responsibilities, setting realistic goals is important to long-term success.

Jay's 7 days and affiliate training helped me to see the bigger picture.

Yes Susie that is how many I am doing one a day so far but I feel like its a chore so I am going to try once every other day and see how that goes.

Set your mind to do one per week, and try to establish a routine to accomplish that goal.
In addition to the actual writing, the routine should include keyword research, topic research, article layout, illustrations and so on.

And remember to make a list of all the information you find along the way that is not relevant to the current article but will be useful for one of the next ones.

Thanks for those tips

Charlie

I was just wondering how people manage more than one website on here there must be a trick to it.?

It depends on how much time you have. Otherwise concentrating on one first then going on to another is my plan eventhough I have 2 up I only have 2 posts on my second site. need to clone myself I guess. Only really have time for one, plus the time it takes to do the certification course and managing group discussions on social media promoting my website etc.

Hey Charles,

I'm a big believer in getting the 'recipe' right with one site first, then moving onto a second and third etc later on. But you can be successful either way so whatever works for you really.

In any case, don't feel pressured to have more than one site, especially not at first. As Alan rightly says, a full-time income can be generated from one site alone.
