Can I share other members success stories on my social network sites?

Yes, my clicking on affiliate at the top of this post. You can also clock it using pretty link if you would like.

Thanks Carl, have a good weekend.

lol my second month and still figuring stuff out.. have a good weekend

One thing I have realized here is that the learning never, ever stops! It's one reason I love this site. You have a great weekend yourself! :)

Have a good weekend Katie.

Thanks for asking this question Cfrazer1. I was wondering about that myself.

Never hurts to ask Katheemis. Now we know.

see you have had some good advice, if you want people to leave a comment just put your link up here and ask

Thanks Katie, this is my second week and I am still trying to figure it all out.

You can use he affiliate link from the blog and if they sign up through it you get the credit for it.

Great to know. Thank you Tommy.

Sure you can, I also add them to my website.

Great, I was just wondering and wanted to know for sure before I share other's stories with my network.

Great question, I never really thought about it or looked into it. I don't mind if people share my stories. It is what makes this community great!

I totally agree Bill, thank you.

I'm not sure...if it was me, I would mention the success story and publish a link to it from your social site to here. Everything has an affiliate link here, as well--if you use that link and someone clicks on it, likes what they see and joins, you get credit for it. You'll see the "Affiliate" button at the top, just under the title of whatever page or blog or success story you want to share.

Sounds good to me, maybe I will take that approach.

Sure ... as soon as I have one! LOL

Yeah, same here. At least we still have our sense of humor!

Absolutely! But we all know it can take 6 to 12 months before seeing revenue. This is no different than building any other kind of business... So keep working and it will come! :-)

I will definitely share your as soon as you have one.

It's coming for all of us soon!

If you are asking if you can share their stories that are posted here at WA, sure!

Thanks Shawn, Do you know if we have to ask the person's permission first or not? Or can we just share a link to their story.

As long as they show an affiliate link you are good to go. if they do not want it shared there will be no affiliate link there. :)

Any suggestions on how to fix or change a domain name.

Hi cfrazer1
At least you realised it straight away :o))
Unlike me, 4 months ago I bought mine and wanted "adoreyou", I typed it wrong and put "adouryou", I have only realised yesterday it is spelt wrong, but I am going to stick with it for the next 2 years, as I paid upfront for that amount of time, I think it is too late for me to change. .

Very unfortunate, let's hope it does not make much of a difference on your site.

How much did you pay for it no more than a few dollars I hope, you should be able to change the Name if you cant sell it on a Flippa site and get your money back, if you don't, write off what you paid for it and don't do it again.

Ray Bowley ( Merryman88 )

Just a few dollars, I will be more careful next time.

See you have got the answers might be you have to keep it for the year and let it run out

I think I'll just do that Katie.

Good luck. You've got your answers.

Looks like I was late on this one. Everyone has covered what to do.

Thanks Jimmy.

I did the same just the other day at GoDaddy. They gave me a credit on my account. Just depends who you deal with?

I got mine at namecheap, It was just a few dollars so I will forget about it, and maybe I can find a good use for it in the future. If not, I will just allow the time to run out.

If you can not get it resolved and get your refund you will be stuck with it for one year. Just make sure you have auto renew turned off so they do not charge your credit card an outrages renewal fee on the second year. Good luck
Tommy

Thanks Tommy, I will certainly do that.

If it's godaddy, then you can just go into your account manager and cancel it first then post a support request to cancel. Have you contacted the domain provide or review their cancellation policy?

It was at namecheap, but I will do as you suggest and see what happen. Thanks.

Hi, more likely you won't get any refund. You can either sell it, or you can use it for another website.

Thanks Jen.

If you just bought it - you can try contacting the company you bought it from (this happened to me once) - but there's no guarantee they will do anything about it. Otherwise I'm afraid you will just have to use the one you have bought or buy another one. :) Beverley

Thank God it was not an expensive lesson to learn. However, I will make sure I am more careful in the future.
