Should I promote the WA link directly or should I use a landing page ?

I am not there yet but what do you mean directly? do you mean social media and emails only ?
Is a landing page just one page on a website?
Personally i am gong to have multiple pages on our website......When I get round to Bootcamp that is :-)) AL

I mean, a way to collect the emails when people are interested in join WA so I can build an email list.
You may wish to have a look at Sumome ...also you may what to send a PM to Tony Hamilton or steve1958 ;-))

The one I'm watching Kyle showing the installation,seem quiet different than the one I'm trying to build. Any help will be appreciated.

Yo' I have a project website also being created while at the same time I'm also here with "WA". I'm retired so I do have a lot of time on my hands, so what ever you may need help with you can shout out 93% of the time I'm here in front of this TUBE! Hit it hard sailor...
I have taken a good chunk of training. There are some differences in what is shown in the training and the actual site. These differences are pretty minor.

The plugin that Kyle is showing is different than the one on the site I'm trying to build.
I think you are referring to the Akismet plugin. It was replaced by the WPspamshield. Neither are necessary with the new security on the WAplatform If I can help in some way holler.

Unless you come in with lots of experience, I say no. The training builds upon itself. So I recommend just digging in and work through the training.
I agree:). You need to follow the training to the tee, or you'll probably be starting over like I had to! Best wishes:)
