Memorial Day in the USA
Honoring Those Who Have Fallen
To some, Memorial day is a long weekend, a little extra time for family and friends or just an extra day for relaxation. For others, it is a time to honor those who have given their lives to protect our freedoms.
There is no greater sacrifice than protecting your country through the armed forces. In America, it is a voluntary action whom millions of men and women have joined through the years and have not only given themselves to the greater good, yet so many find a path where they belong.
To all the families who have lost someone who served, may you know your loved one did not die in vain. I am thankful to all who serve and make it a point to thank these men and women whenever I meet them. May everyone enjoy this day and I hope all know and appreciate it’s meaning. Also feel free to put a name/picture of a friend or family member you have lost in the comments.

Thanks for your insights. I'm a Navy mom, so I'm having those same thoughts. Thanks for reminding all of us!
