Settling In
I am getting settled in here at Wealthy Affiliate and it feels great! I have successfully created my own website and have done some referrals. I found the hardest part of it all was finding my niche. For some this may not be a problem but I found it tough. I started thinking of all the things I was interested in and not the obvious.
My Niche
I have been in the heating and cooling industry for over 20 years and thought that was what I was trying to get away from but realized it was the job I'm losing interest in not the industry. I started a website on air filtration and I get to spread my 20+ years of expertise on the subject. Plus I love affiliate marketing, it is in my blood for life.
Hard Lesson
I wish I would have discovered WealthyAffiliates before I invested in the worst business venture yet and lost around $10,000 in less than 10 months. It wasn't a total loss because I did learn a lot about advertising.
On My Way
I think the way Wealthy Affiliates is laid out has kept me in check and progressing as an affiliate marketer. And not to mention all the other benefits from building a website to who your audience really is. I am excited to see how far I can go in this online world!
