How to deal with those who cause trouble at wa

Hello My Community. I have never written a negative blog so I guess this will be my first one. I feel it is needed and we all need to learn from it. Maybe this information will help many more at WA. I hope we get a better understanding and learn how to handle a situation like this.

Approximately 8 days ago, we had a Newbie join WA. They came in chat and of course we greeted him and wanted to make him feel welcome. He did not start asking questions, but started demanding answers to their question. He showed a bad attitude from the very beginning. Those in chat, remained calm and tried to assist him.

Here is what he wanted. He wanted a free siterubix website. He insisted on knowing how to get the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and transfer a siterubix immediately, He stated he did not want to be part of WA. He stated, he did not want and would not become a Premium Member. He was not going to pay for anything. He had no intentions of doing any training. He was upset that ALL of WA trainings, video's and resources were not available to any new individual. In other words, he wanted everything free without any responsibility to WA or anyone. He wanted a free ride.

His condensing attitude and attitude of superiority dominated the chat room for many days. He started comparing WA to other scams and get rich quick schemes. He showed his superior intelligence and advice, by telling all WA members what they should do. Some of the advice to WA members involved leaving WA.

What bothered me the most was the statement he made in chat. Here is the statement. "Newbies should not be allowed in chat to take up time and space. Chat should be reserved for those who have important discussions."

I cannot state here what I wanted to do but use your imagination.

Enough was enough. Our rules state the peace and harmony of WA and Community are to be maintained. I REPORTED HIM. I believed, (as others did), he was only a trouble maker. He was confronted in chat one of our best WA members. He was asked his intention regarding WA, but was always evasive.

I received a reply from Carson and Support. I will copy and paste Carsons reply here and put it in quotation marks and bold it, so you will see it for yourself.

"Thanks for being concerned and for bringing this up because we never want to see people taking advantage of the service that we offer. That said, SiteRubix.com sites do not have FTP access, so this user is going to have a very hard time moving a site. When a member goes Premium, FTP access is then allowed and the site is fully functional. If this user wants to build their site here at WA then move it, that's totally up to them. If they are doing that they will soon find out that Starter members have some limitations to their sites. Hopefully this person realizes the value in being part of WA and being able to communicate, build powerful sites, and get training all in one place." Carson.

Siterubix is FREE. It is hosted at WA FREE. It is powered by WA FREE. It is a subdomain and it is NOT free to move. A Premium member who has converted a siterubix to their own personal domain may move it at any time. They also have the right to choose where their own domain is hosted.

I am posting this blog so all WA member will understand this situation. I hope the information Carson gave will help all of us in dealing with the issue of a siterubix move. The how and when it can be moved.

I hope this blog will also help and teach us, how to deal with trouble makers in our Community.

I want to say,"Being at WA is an honor for me. I consider all the member of Community as my extended family." My opinion? The members of WA and Community are the best anywhere. We have the best pay it forward attitude and philosophy on the internet.
