Hi Everyone
On my siterubix test site I am now receiving this error when uploading images:
"The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2017/05."
Photos can be way too big to upload to your website. Try reducing the size of the image first.
Thanks Marion, it is actually working now. I did try reducing the size of the photos but regardless of the size I still kept getting the same error message. Gremlins at work again. :)

Hi Carolyn,
Yes, I've had this happen quite a few times and it can be frustrating.
You need to contact website support and submit a ticket.
Here's the direct link to website support here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
They usually have the problem resolved or will get back with you in about 15 minutes or less.
I hope this helps Carolyn and please let me know if you have any other questions or need my help.

Hi Scott
I just tried uploading one of the photos I had tried earlier without any luck and it now works, bizarre. I'll try some other photos but if it happens again I'll follow your advice and contact Website Support.
Thanks. Caz :)
Yea, it's really annoying when it happens to me. I had this happen just a couple weeks ago and I had to contact support several times.
It mostly happens when I upload rather large images. How big are the files you're uploading?
I think it also depends on the file type as well. It's recommended to use PNG files as they seem to work the best.
I'm glad things are working for you now and if you encounter any other problems be sure to contact support.
Cheers

Hi Scott
I did reduce the size of the photos but still had the same issue, and they even were PNG files.
I have uploaded a few more with no problems, so all good.
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers Caz :)
Hi Carolyn,
I'm glad to hear that all is well now.
You are most welcome and I'll be here if you have any other questions.
Cheers

Error message when uploading image?
Hi Everyone
On my siterubix test site I am now receiving this error when uploading images:
"The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2017/05."
Try to covert it to .jpg by going PAINT--->SAVE US--->.JPG PICTURE or save it to PHOTOSHOP --->CROP--->APPLY--->SAVE.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Florencio, I can upload again now. I did try resizing the photos but that didn't make any difference. If anyone does receive that error we should contact support. Mine seemed to rectify itself before having to do that, quite baffling.
Cheers Caz :)
